All members present. <br />Minutes of meetings held July 26th., and July 27th., I927, read <br />and approved. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. -moray, submitted a report on the remonstrance <br />against the pavement of the first alley South of West` Napier Street from Walnut St. <br />to Laurel Street under Improvement Resolution No.I873 Mr. Wr-ays report shows <br />75 resident property owners, 27 of whom have signed the remonstrance and as this <br />does not constitute a, majority, the Board will advertise for bids and let a contract <br />for said improvement. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Fray, submitted a report on the the <br />remonstrance against the pavement of Cbjptin Street from WabhIggton Street to Monroe <br />Street under Improvement Resolution No.I887. Mr., Wray's report shows 53 resident <br />property owners, 35 of whom have signed the remonstrance.. The Board therefore <br />can take no further action on said reso- <br />lution as a majority of resident property owners pia ve signed.the remonstrance. <br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for <br />the following improvements: <br />Pavement on Elmer Street from Frederickson Street to Lincoln Way <br />'West under Improvement Resolution No.I882.
