<br />The Board signed the contract with H. IT. Barnes for hhe construction of
<br />concrete pavement on =wing Avenue from Miami ''treet to Leer Street under Improvement
<br />resolution iNTo.I833. Board also approved the construction bo4d of same in the amount
<br />of 8,1675.90 signed by Southern Surety Co.
<br />The Board signed the contract with H. IT. Barnes for the construction of
<br />grade, curb and walk on Johnson Street from Hamilton to Pershing under Improvement
<br />zesolution Io.I84G. Board also approved the construction bond of same in the amount of
<br />5, 5I5.90 signed by the Southern Surety Co.
<br />Upon t ae recommendation of " . F . O,ua lls , supt. , the Board approved the
<br />installation of a street light at the corner of t first alley -south of Lincoln Tay
<br />-,est on the east side of Cleveland Avenue. game ordered at a cost of r45.00 per year.
<br />Upon the recommendation of `T. F. walls, supt. , the Board apprLxed the petit ii z
<br />of the Indiana &; ?`ichigon Electric Co., for the installation of poles on lifornia
<br />Avenue and i7ilber Street.
<br />City-hgineer, filed plans and specifications and the Board adopted a

<br />Resolution No.I903.
<br />In the above named resolution, the Board hereby orders that on the 3rd ,
<br />day of August, I927, this Board will meet in fheir office in the City Hall at 70-15
<br />P. IrF., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons -.-hose property is liable to
<br />be affected by said condemnation. _ Board further ord-rs that notices of said hearing
<br />shall be published in the South Bend yevrs Times and Tribune on the Nth., day of July
<br />and on the 22nd. , day of July, 1927.
