<br />In botch of the above naxied assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders that on
<br />the 5th., day of July, 1927, this Board at it's office in the City Hall, will meet
<br />at 1000 A. Tf., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons ;chose property
<br />has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the
<br />sveral lots and parcels of land are or will be equal to the cost of the improvements
<br />as shovm on said rolls. Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be
<br />published in the South Bend ITews 'limes and Tribune or, the I st . , day of July and on
<br />2nd., day of July, I927, .
<br />City Engineer, 1"r. H. G. :'fray, filed primary assessment roll for the Condemna-
<br />tion (.Easement) for the North-west trunk Sewer under Condemnation Resolution No.I769.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 27th.1
<br />day of July, 1927, this Board will meet in their office in the City HaSl at 7`-I5 P.11, 9
<br />to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons vihose property has been or will
<br />be affected by said condemnation. Board further orders that notices of said assess-

<br />LaSalle Avenue to Trunk Sevier in Taylor Street in accordance with the terms of the
<br />dontract between the City and the Northern Indiana Construction Co, under Improvement
<br />resolution No.I705. Board signed and approved same in the amount of 4,269.12.
<br />Partial estimate No.I for the Pavement Improvement on the Ist. , alley East of
<br />jl+talnut Street from Division Street to Napier Street under Improvemelftt Resolution No.
<br />I857� according to the terms of the contract between the City and Alex Bukowski.
<br />The Board signed and approved same in the amount of pI,II8.I8.
<br />Partial Estimate No.I for the pavement improvement on Catalpa Avenue from
<br />Calvert Street to Dving Avenue in accordance with the terms of the contract between the
<br />City and Rieth Riley Con.st. Co., under Improvement Resolution No.I69I. Board signed
<br />and approved same in the amount of II,601.45.
<br />Partial estimate No.3 for the server improvement on Bryan, Beale, Roosevelt
<br />and Rose Street in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and John
<br />F. Hipskind, contractor under Improvement Resolution No.I782. Board signed and approved
<br />same in the amount of 43,65I.30.
<br />City Engineer, 1r. H. G. Wray, filed the following plans, specifications and
<br />estimates and the Board adopted resolutions for improvements as follows:
<br />j Pavement on eying Avenue from Michigan 6treet to Test line of Franklin Street
<br />'under Improvement Resolution 1jo.I899.
<br />• ;i Pavement on Kenwood Avenue from Olive Street to Bendix Drive under Improvement
<br />!Resolution No.I898.
<br />Grade, curb and walk improvement on Liberty Street from Vlashington Avenue to
<br />1 Jefferson Blvd., under Improvement Resolution 1,?o.I900.
<br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that
<br />on the 20th. , day of July, I927, this Board will meet at their office in the City Hall
<br />at 7-I5 P. M. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is
<br />liable to be assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to
<br />the property will be equal to the estimL,ted cost of _same as reported by the City
<br />Engineer. Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on
<br />the Ist. , day of July and on the 8th. , day of July, I927, in the South Bend News limes
<br />and Tribune and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law.
<br />The Board signed the contract with the a'iil.iston Const., Co., for the pavem nt
<br />of Lincoln Way klest from the west line of Wilber treet to the West l-ine of Olive 'treet
<br />with sheet asphalt heavy traffic, under Improverent resolution' No.I8P. Board also
<br />approved the construction bond of same signed by the Inland Bonding o., for. 50% of
<br />the contract price or �38,628.30.
