Wednesday June 29th., 1927, <br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. 1:=. All members present. <br />This being the date set, hearing 4gas l .d on hhe widening and. pavement <br />of 1,11ain `'treet from the mouth curb line, of Wayne street to the North curb line of <br />Division Street under Improvement Resolution No.I867. <br />In the above matter, no remonstrators -appeared and no written remon- <br />strance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the <br />benefits 'to the several lots or parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improve <br />ment Will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the' City Engineer. Th <br />Board, therefore, . talces final action on said resolution, confirming, without modifica4i <br />tion said resolution and declaring same in all thing ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />This being the date set, 'Hearings were 'aca on thefollo Jing named <br />resolutions: <br />Pavement on diner Street from giddy street to Bast line of %ladison Park <br />Addition under Improvement Resolution No.1865. <br />Pavement on Frances 6treet from Sorin Street to South Bend Avenue unde <br />Improvement Resolution No.I864. <br />In the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared and no <br />written=°emonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,, <br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said impro- <br />vements will be benefited according to the estimated cost of said improvements as <br />reported by City Engineer. The Board, therefore,decides to take final action on <br />said resolutions and declares same in all things ratified., donfirmed and approved <br />without modification. <br />This being the date set, hearing. was., had on the following improve- <br />ment resoluttlon <br />Pavement on Twenty-aixth Street from Jefferson Blvd., to Mishawaka <br />Avenue under Improvement Resolution T1o.I866. <br />In the above matter, remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance <br />was filed but the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits <br />to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement <br />will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer and that <br />the improvement is necessary. The Board therefore decides to over rules said remon- <br />strances and declares said -resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />This teing the date set, hearing was had on the grade;: curb and vralk j <br />improvement on Olive treet from Bergan Street to Wilson Street under Improvement <br />Resolution NO.I872. <br />In the above matter, property owners appeared requesting the Board <br />to do all in their power to give them this long sought improvement. A written <br />remonstrance was also filed and after hearing all persons interested in said improve - <br />went, the Board decides to over rule said remonstrance and being fully advised in <br />the premises, finds that the benefits to the lots and several parcels of sands <br />liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of <br />same as reported by the City Engineer, and declares said improvement resolution <br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />0- <br />City Migineer, l�r. H. G. `:'.ray, filed a written report on the remon- <br />strance filed against the improvement on Fort"A O'Brien Street from Lincoln "ay Hest • <br />to Vassar Avenue. <br />"There are IO resident property owners on this street, 9 of whom have'' <br />signed. the remonstrance. This nur;ber constitutes a majority, therefore, no further <br />action can be taken in the matter. " <br />The Board therefore rescinds all action taken on said Improvement <br />Resolution and declares same in all things void and the proceedings closed. <br />This being the date set, hearing s were had on the following assess- <br />ment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the consruction of a sewer on 6t. Joseph Street <br />from Broadway to a point 27 feet north of South line of Lot 5I in Raney's Addition <br />under Improvement Resolution No.I852. <br />Assessment roll for the construction of ?rade, curb and walk on <br />Hamilton Street from Portage -"venue to Olive Street under Improvement Resolution <br />No.I574. <br />In the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and <br />no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board finds th at the several lots <br />and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvements have been benefited <br />in the amounts shown on said primary assessment rolls and therefore declares said <br />rolls, filed June 2Ist., 1927, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and <br />the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to <br />the Department of Finance. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. 61ray, filed the following primary assess- <br />
