<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. 110 John J. Olejniezakl
<br />absent.
<br />This being the date. set., hearings were had on the following
<br />improvement resolutions;

<br />Grade, curb and waLk improvement on Eckman Street from the
<br />East line of Studebaker glace Addition to the East, line of High Street, also from a
<br />point I80 feet west of 'the west line of Dale Avenue to Miami â–ºstreet under_Improvement j
<br />resilution No.I858.
<br />Pavement improvement on Turnock Street from South Bend Avenue;
<br />to Corby Street under Improvement Resolution No,I862.
<br />Pavement Improvement on O'Brien Street. from Lincoln Way VVest
<br />to Vassar Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I860.
<br />Pavement Improvement on Sancome Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to!',
<br />Lincoln Play Nest under Improvement resolution No,186I.
<br />In all of the above named improvements, remonstrators appeared
<br />and written remonstrances were filed on lurnock Street, and after hearing all persons'!
<br />interested in said improvements and being fully advised in the premises, the Board
<br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
<br />for said improvements, will be equal to the estimated cost of,same as reported by the;
<br />City Engineer. The Board therefore decides to over rule the remonstrances and confirms
<br />without modification all of the above named improvement resolutions.
<br />r This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resoluti
<br />No.I853 for the Vacation of alleys in Summit Place fourth and fifth Additions under
<br />Vacation Resolution No.I853.
<br />In the above named resolution, no remonstrators appeared and
<br />no written remonstrances was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises
<br />takes final action on said vacation resolution and declares same in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all
<br />oi-iners and holders of property and of valuable inte pests therein sough to be taken
<br />or to be injuriously affected by said proceedings, which list or roll shall also
<br />describe the property beneficially affected.

<br />Phis being the date set, hearing was had on the Vacation of
<br />the alley South of Division Street from the east line of Kenmore Street to the west I
<br />line of the Ist., alley east of Kenmore Street under Vacation Resolution No.I854.

<br />In the above named resolution, the Indiana 8 Michigan Electri;' .
<br />Company remonstrated against the closing of this alley for the reason that said
<br />Company have been taking their pole and wire lines off of Division street and will
<br />need the alley for this purpose. After hearing all ,-ersons interested in said
<br />said Vacation
<br />Vacation Resolution, the Board tapes final action on same, rescinding
<br />Resolution ±to.I854 and declaring all former action taken on same null and void and
<br />the proceedings closed.
<br />this being the date set, hearing _was had on Condemnation j
<br />Resolution No.I844 for the opening of Bulla Street from Portage Avenue to 1-edora St.,
<br />Resolution;
<br />and.also between alley west of Y=edora Street and Adams under Condemnation
<br />No.I844.
<br />In the above mAtt er, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, takes
<br />final on said Condemnation Resolution No.I844, confirming without modifieatiol
<br />action
<br />and declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all !I
<br />owners or holders of property,sand of valuable interes is therein sought to be taken
<br />or to be injuriously affected, which list shall also describe the property beneficially
<br />affected.

<br />roll for the pipe sewer improvement on Calvert Street from dine Street to Sampson
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution No.1775.

<br />In the above mat 'Uer , the Board hereby orders that on the
<br />20th., day. of July, I-,27, this Board will meet at the office in the City at 7-15 I
<br />P. 1,!., and will decide whether the benefit s to the several lots and parcels of
<br />land which have been assessed for said improvement are equal to the amount set
<br />opposite said lots on said primary assessment roll. Board further orders that
<br />notice of said hearing shall be published in the News Times and Tribune on the 8th
<br />day of July and on the I5th., day of July, 1927, according to law.
