<br />This being the date set, hearing; was had on Improveme,t Resolution
<br />No.185I for the construction of a local sewer on Kinyon Street from' herman Avenue
<br />to a point 20 feet west of the east line of lots I86 North West Addition,
<br />In the above named resolutiony,rro remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises finds that
<br />the 'benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assesse d for said
<br />improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
<br />Engineer and that the improvement is necessary. The Board therefore decides to sustainll
<br />all former action taken .on said improvement resolution and declares same in all things
<br />ra,,tified, confirmed and approved.
<br />The Board now orders that on the 2Ist. , day of June, 1927this Board
<br />will receive., open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of the local
<br />sewer along Kinyon Street under Improvement Resolution No.I85I., Board further ordersl!
<br />that notice .of "said sealed proposals shall be published in the youth Lend hews Time s
<br />and Tribune on the IOth. , day of June and on the I7th. , day of June I927.
<br />In the matter of Improvement resolution No,I8I6 for the pavement of
<br />Woodside Street from Fellows Street to a point I20 feet west of the west line of Bale !
<br />Avenue and also Improvement Resolution No. I836 for the pavement of Oakside 'street
<br />from Fellows Street t..o Miami Street, the Board hereby orders that on the 22nd. , day �
<br />of June, 1927, at 7+15 P. Y.,'this Board will meet and will receive, opene add consid-
<br />er .sealed proposals/ for the construction of the above named improvements. Board
<br />further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the, Nth 3, day
<br />of June and on the I8th. , day of June 1927 in the South Bend News limes and tribune.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement

<br />north of Mariontreet from Main Street to Michigan Street.
<br />Improvement resolution No.I830 for the pavement of the first alley
<br />I west of Michigan Street from Marion Street to Navarre Street.

<br />In both of the above named resolutions, written remonstrances were
<br />filed and several remonstrators appeared and the �oard being -ftlly advised in the
<br />premises finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to
<br />be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated cost of same as
<br />reported by the City Engineer and that these improvements are necessary. The Board,
<br />therefore, decides to over rule these remonstrances and declares said resolutions
<br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The written remonstrances filed
<br />it against said improvements handed to the City Engineer for a final check of resident
<br />property owners.
<br />jThis being the date set, hearing was had on the Vacation Resolution
<br />J No.I849 for the vacation of the first alley north of daiaple Street from Minton
<br />Street to the west line of Ist. , alley East of Clinton Street.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
<br />strance was filed, and the Board beingf lly advised in the premises .' ekes:_ Final
<br />j action of said resolutions No.I849, confirming without modification all former action
<br />taken on same. The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners
<br />or holders of property or of valuable interests therein sought to be or to be
<br />injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficiall;
<br />• affected.
<br />Bids having been received for .the pavement of Lincoln day Vilest from
<br />Cottage Groue -venue to Wilber Street under Improvement Resolution No.I8I4, the Board
<br />this 8th. , day of June, I927, hereby makes a preliminary order for sheet asphalt as
<br />i the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and set the 2Ist., day
<br />of June, 1927, as the time 1,,rhen said Board shall either pass on petitions for a chang
<br />of type of pavement other than. that specified inthe preliminary order, award the con-
<br />tract or reject all bids. The preliminary order is for sheet asphalt pavement with
<br />I%etropolitan brick in car tracks and with the street closed to traffic during the
<br />time of construction,
