<br />Resolution NO.I756. In the above matter, no rem nstrator s appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board being AU advised in the premises, finds that j
<br />the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed on said
<br />roll for said improvement are equal to the amounts set opposite each lot1r.on the
<br />primary assessment roll and therefore the`Board `declares said assessment roll in all
<br />things ratified, confirmed and approve' without modification. The Board now orders
<br />said roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assess—
<br />ment rolls:
<br />Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley north of Bartlett
<br />Street from W? line of Main Street to the east line of Ist. , alley west of Main Street
<br />under t Resolution No.I80I.
<br />Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley west . of Ylain' Street
<br />from the South line of Foote Street to the North line of Ist. , alley south of Foote St. ,
<br />under �t Resolution No.I800.
<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators
<br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the. Board being fully advised in
<br />the premises, finds that the several lots and �a.rcels If land primarily assessed for
<br />said vacations, have been benefited in the amounts shoiim on said assessment rolls. The
<br />Board, therefore, decides to sustain 'all former action taken on said assessment rolls
<br />and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
<br />closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of
<br />Finance.
<br />City Engineer, IVir. H. G. Wray, filed .primary assessment roll for
<br />the construction of a local sewer on Fairview, Irvington, 11ckman and Marine 6treets
<br />under Improvement resolution No.I784. In the above matter,; the Board hereby orders -
<br />that on the I4th., day of June, 1927, the Board will meet at the office in the City Hall
<br />at 10:00 A Mop to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has
<br />been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and: parcels
<br />of land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts'
<br />shown on said roll. Board further orders that property owners be notified according to
<br />law.
<br />This being the ' date set, continue hearing waSAon the construction
<br />of a local sewer on Chalfant Street under Improvement esolution No-1790. In the above
<br />matter, the Board hereby decides to continue hearing on same for one week or until, June
<br />I5th.9 I927.

<br />Improvement resolution No.1833 for the pavement on Ewing Avenue
<br />from TAiami 6treet to Leer Street.u.
<br />In all of the above named-°esolutions, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improve-
<br />ments will be benefited in amounts equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by
<br />the City Engineer and that the improvements are necessary. The Board therefore, decides!
<br />to take final action on said resolutions and confirms without modification said improve_".

<br />the City Hail, and will receive, open and consider sealed proposals at 10:00 A. M., for
<br />the construction of the above named improvements. Board further orders that notices of !i
<br />said sealed proposals shall be published on the Nth. , day of June and on the I7th. ,
<br />day of June 1927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune.

<br />but no written remonstrances were filed, and the Board beingfta.11y advised in the premise
<br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
<br />for said improvements will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
<br />City Engineer and that these improvements are necessary. The Board therefore takes
<br />final action on said improvement resolutio#s, confirming without modifl.eation said
