<br />The Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. M. All members present.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessment
<br />. rolls:

<br />Assessment roll for the construction of grade, curb and walk on the
<br />north side of'l diana Avenue between Leer Street and Clyde Street.under Improvement
<br />resalution No.I778.
<br />Assessment roll for the construction of grade and walk on LaSalle
<br />Avenue from Sunnysid.e Avenue to the Ist. , alley East of 6uxmyside Avenue under
<br />Improvement resolution No.1777.
<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premides
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land which have been primarily assessed for
<br />said improvement, have been benefited in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board
<br />therefore, decides to sustain all former action taken on said assessment rolls, and
<br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board now orders
<br />said assessment rolls, filed May I7th. , I92% delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley lying between Lot II and j
<br />Lot I2 in Kuntzman and Meyer's Addition from East line of Olive Street to the west line
<br />of the Ist. , alley east of Olive Street under Vacation Resolution No. I787.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstran<'e
<br />was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the benefits
<br />aerruing to the several lots primarily assessed for said vacation, have been benefited
<br />in the amounts named -on said asstcation
<br />sment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to sustain 11
<br />all former action taken on said Resolution No.I787, and declares said assessmen
<br />roll in all, things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The !
<br />Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. dray, filed plans and the Board adopted a
<br />resolution for the vacation of the first alley West of Moan Street from the North line
<br />of Garst Street to the South line of the first alley North of Garst Street and from the
<br />North line of the fi_°st alley North of Garst Street to the South line of Sample Street
<br />under Vacation Resolution No.I859.
<br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the I5th., day Of
<br />June, I927, this Board at it's office in the City Hall, will meet,at 7-I5 P. Y,$ to
<br />hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said
<br />vacation. Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the
<br />27th. , day of I6!ay and on the 3rd. , day of June, I927, in the South Bend News Times and
<br />Tribune.
<br />City Engineer, Fir. H. G. 'fray, fildd plans, specifications and estimate
<br />and the Board adopted a resolution for the construction of grade, curb and walk on
<br />Eckman Street from the east line of Studebaker Place Addition._to the East line of High
<br />Street, also from a point I80 feet west of the west line of Dale Avenue to Miami
<br />;Street under Improvement Resolution No.I858. a
<br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the I5th., day of
<br />June, 1927, this Board will meet at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Tvt. , to hear
<br />and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by said
<br />proceedings. Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published in
<br />the South Bend News Times and Tribune on, the 28th. , day of blay and on the 3rd. , day
<br />of June, 1927.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. gray, filed primary assessment roll for the
<br />construction of grade, curb and walk on O'Brien Streetmfrom the north line of Elwood
<br />,Avenue to the South line of Keller Street; also Bulla Street and the south 2 of feller
<br />from alley east of O'Brien to alley west of O'Brien Street under Improvement resolution
<br />I745. Williston Construction Co., contractors, $5,I95.35.
<br />City Fngineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed vrimary assessment roll for the j
<br />construction of pavement on O'Brien Street from Elwood to Jgeller Street under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.1749. Williston Construction Company, contractors, $14,337.92.
<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders
<br />that on the•.^3Mst., day of Maur, I927, this Board will meet in their office In the City
<br />Hall at 9 A. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all -persons whose property
<br />has been assessed for said improvements. Both of these improvements being waived,
<br />no advertising is necessary - on these rolls.
<br />City Engineer, fir. H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimate
<br />and the Board adopted a resolution for the grade, curban.d walk on Twyckenham Drive from
<br />Woodside Street to Ridgedale Road and Rodgedale Road from Twyckenham Drive to Mliami Stre t
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.1840. In the above named resolutions, property owners
<br />waived all right of objections on and in defense to any defect to any proceedings and to
<br />any violation in procedure for the construction pf street improvements according to law.
<br />Whereupon the Board received, opened and read bids as follows: �
