<br />October, I926, this Board at itts office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., will hear
<br />and receive all persons whosenproperty is affected by said improvement and will decide
<br />Whether the lots or -tracts of land have been. or will be benefited in the amounts as show
<br />on said rolls. Board further orders. that notices of said h wrings be mailed .to property
<br />owners showing amounts of assessments.
<br />City Engineer Mr. H. G. Fray, filed plans and specifications and the
<br />Board adopted the following resolutions:
<br />Vacation -Resolution No.I75I for the vacation of the -first alley south
<br />of Lawton Street from Klley Street to the West line of the alley East of'Kaley Street.
<br />Vacation Resolution No.I752 for the vacation of the first alley west of
<br />Meade Street "from'W"hington Avenue to the south line of the first alley ,north of
<br />Washington Avenue.
<br />Vacation Resolution No.I753 for the vacation of the alley between lots
<br />I2 and I3-in Studebakerts'Sub., from Kosciuszko street to the West line of the alley
<br />East of Kosciuszko Street.
<br />In all'of the above resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on the
<br />3rd., day of November, I926, this Board at it's office in the City Hall at 7=15 P.-M.,
<br />will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected -
<br />by said resolutions. Board further orders that notice of said hearings be' published
<br />on the 14th., day of October and -on the 2Ist., day of October, 1926,'in the News Times
<br />and Tribune, and notices be sent to property owners according to law.
<br />The Board approved the following recommendations from Wm. F. Quall s:
<br />The Installation of the Business District Ornamental fixtures at the
<br />corner of Oolfax Avenue #ust east of Michigan.
<br />The installation of one light on the north side of Colfax at the new
<br />Theater building -and one light on the south side of Colfax near the rear of the new
<br />Poledor Building.
<br />j The removal of the two five light cluster -lighting fixtures'at-Colfax
<br />and Michigan, The 5 light cluster costs-50.00. The business district ornamental
<br />lights -to 66"st'57.50 each per year, making a tetal difference for the two lights
<br />I5.00 per year.
<br />The installation of an additional business district ornamental extension
<br />light at he north side of Colfax Avenue, near the Mich�gan Street entrance aiid'

<br />The Board approved the petition of Harry Polis to use a space of about
<br />2 feet over the street line for excavation at his building on the corner of Broadway
