Therefore, staff <br />is requesting the Commission to rescind the <br />proposal dated October 9, 2008 and <br />subsequently approved November 7, 2008 in <br />the amount of $10,220. <br /> <br />CC <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION RESCINDED THE ONTRACT WITH <br />WPPII <br />IGHTMAN ETRIE FOR HASE <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />ESA <br />NVIRONMENTAL ITE SSESSMENT FOR <br />Commission rescinded the Contract with <br />B(WM& <br />URTON PROPERTY ASTE ANAGEMENT <br />Wightman Petrie for Phase II Environmental <br />1515-1519F) <br /> RANKLIN <br />Site Assessment for Burton property (Waste <br />Management & 1515-1519 Franklin) <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Proposal for Phase II Environment Site <br />Assessment for Ignition Park (Ziolkowski <br />Construction, Uzelac property, Graf <br />property and Waste Management) <br /> <br />Ms. Kolata noted that this proposal is to <br />perform Phase II site assessment on several <br />properties, including the Burton/Waste <br />Management, Graf property, Ziolkowski <br />properties, and the Uzelac property. The fee <br />for this scope of services will be $42,991. <br />Staff requests approval of a not-to-exceed <br />amount of $45,000. Ms. Kolata noted that <br />Phase II assessment is part of the <br />Commission’s due diligence when acquiring <br />property. <br /> <br />Mr. Varner asked if there is a requirement for <br />a certain number of borings per square foot? <br />Ms. Kolata responded that she is not aware of <br />such, if there is one. There are rules of <br />“thumb,” based on what they see during a <br />Phase I assessment. <br /> 12 <br /> <br />
