1 The cost of milling, excavation and disposal of existing materials, including existing <br />composite or asphalt pavement, required for compacted aggregate or HMA <br />patching material shall be included in the cost of the HMA patching. <br />2. Replacement of pavement damaged by the Contractor's operations shall be at no <br />additional payment. <br />3. Patching and pay limits will be paid to the neat lines as shown on the plans unless <br />approved or directed by the Owner. <br />4. HMA Patching for partial depth patches shall be placed the same day as the <br />existing asphalt pavement was removed. Liquidated Damages will be assessed <br />for each day that a patch remains unpaved, <br />5. Full depth HMA Patching shall be complete by noon on Friday of the week existing <br />pavement was removed. Liquidated Damage will be assessed beginning at that <br />time. <br />6. Drums will be required around patchiing areas until the pavement is within 2 in. of <br />the surface. <br />7.
