<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. 7. All members
<br />present.
<br />This being the date set, hearingw as had on the Sidewalk
<br />improvement resolution for the North side of Sample Street under Imp-rov.ement
<br />Resolution No. I730.
<br />In the above matter, remonstrators appeared and a written
<br />remonstrance was filed showing eighteen property owners who protested against the
<br />improvement. The Board, after hearing all persons interested, desides to res6lid
<br />all former action on said resolution and declares same null and void and the
<br />proceedings closed.
<br />The Board approved the bond of I,000.00 for Madyslaw iK-uberbki,
<br />signed by Waclaw Dzikowski and Stanislaw Cichowicz as personal surities.
<br />The Board signed the contract with the Albert Construction Co.,
<br />for the pavement on Albert and Edison Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I737.
<br />Board also approved the construction bond for the above improvement, it being for
<br />I001/, of the amount of the contradt, I9,054.09, signed by the Inland Bonding o.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following
<br />assessment rolls:
<br />Trunk `'ewer on xarriett and-Hildredth Street under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I545.
<br />Pipe Sewer on Smith Street from Olive Street to Huron Street
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.I59I.
<br />Pipe Sewer on !'illiam Street from Calvert Street t6 Ewing
<br />Ivenue under Improvement Resolution No.I624.
<br />In all of the above matters, no remonstrators appeared and
<br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board finds that all of the lots and
<br />tracts of land described in said rolls have been benefited in the amounts shown
<br />on said rolls. The Board therefore declares the above named rolls, in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.

<br />City Engineer, 1,-r. H. G. Tray, submitted the following partial
<br />estimates:
<br />Partial estimate No.I for the pavement improvement on the
<br />alley between Portage Avenue and ?Woodward Avenue from Yukon to Angella Avenue,
<br />according to the terms of the contract between the City and and Carl E. Zimmer,
<br />Uontractor, under Improvement Resolution No.I689. Board approved and signed same
<br />in the amount of 2, 864. I6.
<br />Partial Estimate RTo.3 for the grade- curb, walk, serer and drainage
<br />system improvements on Imgella Avenue,a ccording to the terms of the contract between,
<br />the city and the Highways Improvement Co., contractors, under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I560, Board approved and signed same in the amount of 4,II9.48.
<br />City Engineer submitted the following Assessment polls:
<br />Assessment Roll for the Grade, Curb and walk improvement i:. '
<br />Lincoln Yanor under Improvement Resolution No.I665. This being a waiver improvement,;
<br />the Board approved the assessment roll for I2,I70.25.
<br />Assessment Roll for the pavement on Bellevue, Esther,-Kuskin
<br />and Hildreth Streets under Improvement Resolution 1do.I673. This beinga waiver
<br />Improvement, the Board hereby declares said roll in all things ratified, confirmed
<br />and approved and the proceedings closed. Tmount of Assessment Roll 37,684.42.
<br />Board approved the drive for the Valley Oil Co., at the corner
<br />of Olive Street and-'isher Street.
<br />The -Board made a, final award of contracts for the following
<br />lowing
<br />pavement improvements:
<br />Sheet asphalt on Angella Avenue from Lafayette Street to the
<br />Nest rail of the Southern Yichigan R. R., under Improvement Resolution No-170I.
<br />Contract awarded to the "%illiston Construction Co., at their bid of I01230.65.

<br />view of the fact that the improvement totaled 50 I of the value of the property as
<br />assessed for taxation, exclusive of improvements.
<br />Sheet asphalt on Angella Avenue from Leeper Avenue to a point
<br />5.6 feet west of the East fright of way of the Southern Yichigan R. R., under Improve
<br />ment Resolutim No.I700. Contract awarded to the ''iilliston Construction Co., at their
<br />bid of 6,100.25. Eighty per cent of the property owners abutting on said Angella,
<br />Avenue signed a waiver for this improvement in view of the fact that the improvement
<br />totaled in excess of 506� of the value of the property as assessed for taxation,
<br />exclusive of improvements.
