<br />Grad e; Curb and walk on the Blest side of Main Street from Tutt Street
<br />to Stull Street under. Improvement Resolution 7�I686.
<br />Grade, Curb and walk on Bena Court from Cleveland Avenue to the
<br />East Line of the 2nd., alley west of Cleveland Avenue under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I688.
<br />Pavement of 'Aoashington Avenue from Jacob Street to Esther Street
<br />under Improvement Resolution NO.I687.
<br />' Pavement of Alley between D-anh.am Street and Fisher Street from
<br />�`�-alnut Street to St. Casmer's Court under Improvement Resolution Tvo.I690.
<br />Pavement of Alley between Portage Avenue and 'loodward Avenue from Yukon
<br />Avenue to Angell\a Avenue under Improvement Resolution IVo.I689.
<br />In the above matters, the Board hereby, orders that on the 2Ist. day of July, I926, a hearing will be held in the office of the Board at 7-I5 P. Hai.,
<br />on all of the above named resolutions and 211 decide whether the benefit accruing
<br />to abutting--anadjacent property and t o the City of South Buend, will equal to or
<br />exceed the estimated cost of said Improvements. Board further orders that notices
<br />of said hearings be published on the 2nd. , day of July and on the 9th. , day of July,
<br />1926, in the News Times and Tribune.
<br />Upon the recogmendation of City Engineer, 11r. ;dray, the Board awarded
<br />the contract for the paving of the alley East of Eddy Street from Belmont Avenue to
<br />South Street, unde r Improvement Resolution No.I685, to Harry Barnes at his low bid
<br />of 3,37G.60.
<br />I Tir. H. G. Wray, City Engineer, submitted partial estimate No. 2 for
<br />the grade, curb and jiialkand pavement on. South Street from Eddy Street to Sunnyside Avenue
<br />in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and VYilliston Construction;
<br />Co., under Improvement Resolution No.I568. Board approved same and signed same in the
<br />amount of 8,786.62.
<br />City Engineer, -T"r. Wray, submitted partial estimate No. I for the sewer
<br />Improvement in Coquillard :7oods addition in accordance with the terms of the e04.traet
<br />between the City and The lilliston Construction Co., under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />I652. Board approved and signed same in the amount of 5,855.26
<br />City Engineer, 14r. Wray, submitted partial estimate No. I for the
<br />pavement improvement on Brookfield Street from Y'ashington Avenue to Lincoln Way West
<br />in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and The uJilliston Construct'!
<br />ion Co., under Improvement Resolution No.I620. Board approved and signed same in the
<br />iamount of I3,962.05.
<br />City Engineer,11r. Wray, submitted partial estimate No. 2 for the grade,,
<br />curb and walk improvement on Wilber Street from Lincoln bay West to Elwood Avenue in
<br />Iaaccordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Carl E. Zimmer under
<br />!Improvement resolution No.I565. Board approved and signed same in the amount of
<br />2,389.08.

<br />Upon the recommendation of 19m. F. Qualls, the Board Approved the petition',I
<br />of the Indiana and ivlichigan Electric Co., for the installation of an under ground transformer
<br />pit in front of the New Woolworth Building on South Michigan Street.
<br />i In connection with the contract for grade, curb and walk on Wilber Street;
<br />'under Improvement resolution No.I590, Carl Zimmer is hereby authorized to have lowered
<br />such water boxes as are in the sidewalk line constructed under said contract and to
<br />present to this Board, the plumbers receipted bill for same. Same to constitute
<br />Extra order No.,I on said Contract.
