TUmer Peak, attorney, appeared before the Board wit1-1- a request, <br />for the approval of plans of IT. B. T--"-oore for tr.e construction of a. filing station <br />at the corner of Prairie and T`cving Avenues. Ac there is neither curb nor v-alk <br />I on prairie avenue, the Board approved tentatively, a cinder drive until such time <br />as garb and walk are built on Prairie Avenue. <br />I Property owners on Wilber Street appeared with a,request that the <br />sidewalk be built on the property line between Vassar A�renue and Bumbolt Street <br />on '01ilber Street. After careful consideration by the Board and City Engineer, <br />this request was granted and iJr. 17ray advised property owners that he would <br />see that walk and curb be so constructed. <br />Ir. Pettingill, attorney, appeared before the Board with his client <br />ors. A. L. Brick, requesting that a red light be placed at the head of Chapin.Street <br />in order to prevent North bound traffic off of Chapin Street from running into the <br />Brick property. It was pointed out by 7.r. Pe#jtingill, that four times within the <br />past twee years, automobiles have run onto the Brick property and into the <br />residence, causing considerable damage. This matter to be given careful consideration <br />and parties notified regarding the disposition of petition. <br />T,ir. A. Spadoni, Contractor for the Rex, Cushingand VanBurnen Street <br />• � sewer appeared before the Board with the .report that re had madeamicabla settlements <br />with property owners along VanRuren Street where grass had been damaged. <br />i� <br />j) Yr. A. Spadoni signed the following agreement regarding the repaving <br />of Rex Street: <br />rAs the contractor for tine Rex, Cushing Pra VanRuren Street Sewer., T_ <br />hereby agree to allow t'-e Board of Public '7orks to arrange for the relaying_ of <br />3000 s quare yards of brick pavement" <br />signed) A.
