Tuesday, March 16, 1926 i3 Board met in regular session at 9:15 A.M. All members present. Minutes of meetings held March 9th and March 10th read and ap- proved. Board approved the appointment of Dalton Moomaw as Building Com- missioner, same effective as of January 4, 1926. i Report from the Building Department read and approved, Board approved the bid of $50.00 from Jospeh Paidle for lumber under Colfax Bridge. Building formerly used by the -Street Department. Excavation Bond of Thilman Bros. approved. Board approved the following petitions for lights, recommended by Wm. F. Qualls, Superirtend6nt of Poles and Wires: Petition from South Shore R.R. Co. for placing of 2 lights along the south side of their station at LaSalle Avenue and Michigan Street. Same to be used without any cost to the City, either for installation of maintenance Petition for light at corner of Fox and Main Streets, at a cost of 045.00 per year. Same ordered. Petition for light at Bergan and Johnson Streets, at a cost of $45 per year. Same ordered. Re -location and installation of lights in West Section of City at. an additional cost to the City of $342.00 per year. City Engineer filed partial estimate #7 for Trunk Sewer Improvement on Rex Street, Cushing and Van Buren Streets, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the ity of South Bend, jndiana and A. Spadoni, contractor. Board signed and approved same in the amount cif $1718.27.. City Engineer filed plans and specifications and Board adopted the 1 following numbered Resolutions: Pavement on Brookfield Street from Washington Avenue to Lincoln Way ffest, under Improvement Resolution #1620. Pavement on Phillippa Street from Division Street to New Jersey Illinois and Indiana R.R., under Improvement Resolution #1619'. .Board hereby okders that notices of the above named resolutions be sent property owners and that same be published in The News Times and Tribune on the 18th day of March and on the 25th day of March,,and the Board at its office in the City Hall on April 14, 1926, will hear and receive all persons j interested in said resolutions or affected by said proceedings. i . In the matter of the petition for paving Logan Street from St.Jo- seph River Bridge to Jefferson Road, the Board finds no objection to paving same and is willijng to make this improvement in Mishawaka a joint resolution with the �i Board of Public Works, provided that same can be done under the spe- • cifications adopted by this Board, which do not include Vibrolithic Concrete, Claims amounting to 04,694.19 as evidenced by vouchers #1999 to #2025 inclusive, approved and signed.
