Tuesday October 13th., 1925. <br />Board met in regular session at 9:00 A.m. All members present. <br />The matter of paving of William Street between Colfax Avenue and Lincoln Way West <br />and Diagonal Street connecting the Southerly end of Portage Avenue with north end of <br />Wood Street from Mirion Street to Navarre Street, running east of said Diagonal Street <br />takenup and discussed with John Schaub and Ray Schaub of the Williston Construction <br />Company, Contractors on above mentioned streets, and said Williston Construction <br />Company is hereby ordered to commence work on said contracts for paving immediately. <br />Engineer signed assessment rolls and finale estimates for sheet asphalt <br />pavement on Wayne Street from Harriett Street to a line between Swly. corner of lot 67 <br />& Wly. corner of Lot 166 in Sunnymede Addition, as provided. in improvement Resolution <br />No. 1535. <br />Sewer on Sunnymede Avenue from Harriett Street to a point 15 feet East <br />of West line of Lot 302 Sunnymede Addition as provided in Improvement Resolution No, <br />1567. <br />Grade, curb and walk and pavement on Jacob Street from Jefferson Blvd. <br />to Mayne Street north, as provided in improvement Resolution No, 1458. <br />Assessment rolls adopted and final estimates allowed. Notice of <br />adoption of the assessment rolls and of hearing upon the same on the 21st. day of <br />October 1925 at 7:15 P.M. ordered published as provided by law. <br />Bids of William H. Same filed. <br />SI Complaints were received read and placed on file from the f ollowing <br />property owners. <br />ii George R. Syson. Broken sidewalk facing 21st. Street, also Vine Street. <br />Hiss :7m. A. Davidson, sidewalk and curbing in front of lot 5 of- the <br />Berner Grove Addition, known as 22nd. Street. <br />Lillian Hines Hosler, damaged sidewalk and curbing in front of lot No. <br />15 of the Berner's Grove Addition of South Bend, known as 814 South 22nd. Street. <br />damaged sidewalk on south '32nd. Street, South Bend, Indiana, sidewalk and curbing <br />in front of 11t No. 14 of the Berner's Grove Addition known as Lot 10 south 22nd. .,,1.-- <br />Street. <br />The followingeommanication received from the County Commissioners: <br />To the Honorable Board of Public Works, <br />r <br />City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Gentlemen: - <br />The County Council is favorable to a new bridge at Ernsberger Street,: <br />and have requested the undersigned to have prepared plans and specifications, and <br />the estimate of the cost of said new bridge, but are insisting that the undersigned <br />take up with your Honorable Board and the Board of Works of the City of Mishawaka,, this, <br />proposition. <br />1st. That the two Boards should agree on the paving of that part of the street <br />leading to, the `Ernsberger Bridge from the South. <br />'x <br />
