Minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap <br />proved. HURWICH IRON COIVIPAN <br />125 lb. rails with plates <br />to match and copper $9,051.10 $r,200.84 $131515.00 <br />70 lb. rails 21083.31 1,472.98 2,485.00 <br />TOTALS $111134.41 $8,673.82 $$,16,000.00 <br />The Hurwich Iron Company -submitted an additional bid of $116.00 for all copper rail <br />bonds, making a total bid_,of $16,116.00. <br />The bid of the Hurwich Iron Company, being the highest and best bid, was accepted <br />and his warranty check was turned over to.Mr. Driggs, dity Controller. <br />Guaranty checks in the amounts of �,p905.11 and $208.33 submitted by Sam Berman with <br />his bid were returned. <br />Proposal bond furnished by the Bunhanan Iron & Metal Co. was returned to that company. <br />The City Attorney was authorized to prepare an agreement to be entered into between; <br />the city by its Board of Public wyorks and Safety and the Hurwich Iron Company. <br />STREET LIGHTS: A petition signed by 19 property o wners requesting. a street light on <br />South Richigmi Street at the City Limits was received and referredto Mr. Qualls for <br />investigation and report. <br />A petition for street lights at the intersections of Michigan and Altgeld and <br />Michigan and Fairview signed by 27 property owners was received. and referred to TtTr.Owuall� <br />for investigation and report. <br />A letter was received from M. Brown & Son requesting three street lights at the <br />intersection of Main and Western was referred to Mr. Qualls for investigation. <br />The Replat of Lot numbered 90, and Lots numbered 101 to 105, both inclusive, in <br />Christman Place Second Addit.on to the Citv;of South Bend, having been approved by the <br />City Plan Cormnission, was referred to the Board by Charles G. Schreyer of the Inland <br />Bonding Company. Upon motion duly carried, the plat was approved. This replat com- <br />prises and is described as follows: <br />DEDICATION OF PLAT <br />z The Replat of Lot Numbered 90; and Lots Numbered 101 to 105, both inclusive, in <br />Christman Place Second Addition to the.City of South Bend, is laid out on said Lots in <br />F Christman Place Second Addition for the purpose of correcting and altering said plat as <br />f herein indicated. <br />The lots in said Replat are numbered as in the plat of Christman Place Second .Add- <br />ition to the City of SouthBend. <br />An easement 4 feet fn width is reserved off of the east side of Lot Numbered 90, <br />E as well as the rear ends of all lots in such Replat as shown on the attached plat of <br />i said Replat. <br />The set back line shall not be less than 25 feet as indicated on the plat: <br />IN WITINESS WHEREOF, Inland Bonding Company, an Indiana corporation, owner of al`E <br />of" the lots above described, has hereunto affixed its hand and corporate seal, by E-.A. <br />Coates, its Secretary, this 19th day of July, 1939. <br />INLAND BONDING COMPANY <br />By.
