Anderson City- Civil Engineer A sketch of civic property on Lincoln uvay Es.st, east of the Grand Trunk Railroad was sub-raitted by the Engineering Department an6 referred to' the City Lttorney for his recommendation. Apetition iking for the installation of a street light at the intersection of an alley in.the 700 block on South Columbia Dtreet was referred to 14r. walls for investi- gation and recommendation. 'The Street Commissioner, in reply to a reouest of the Board to investigate the pave ment in the 100 and 200 blocks on South Meade Street advised that this will take practi- cally a new pavement end that the hngineering Depart_raent could _make a better report than the Street Department. The street will have to be leveller and filled in becEjuse of some depressions that are.two feet deep. The metter was referred to the Engineering Dep, artrnent for further report. This being the date set for -postponed hearing of Vacation Resolutions Ao. 2491, 24921 and 2493, and the easements to -property not having been completed by the Metropol- ztan Life Ins.
