Trunk <br />Railroad in 'which it was stated that definite has been received. from the State Highway <br />Department that the Department will install from 19259 Federal funds flasher light sig- <br />na.ls with short arm automatic -gates at their Greenlawn Avenue crossi.rig. Also that the <br />same installation will be made where State Road ivo. 123 crosses the._ rack at /I.P. 96.42 <br />The Board decided to defer action regarding this matter, giving the Railroad the oppor- <br />tunity of installing these signals as soon after the first of the year as possible. Tie <br />Clerk was instructed to keep in touch with the matter to see that it is accomplished. <br />'f. City Traffic Engineer Miller called attention to the guard railing on the south <br />side of Colfax Avenue bridge at the race and the north side of LaSalle Avenue Bridge <br />at the race, stating that some of this railing is missing and should be replaced for <br />the protection of pedestrians.
