WHEREAS: <br />J <br />There has not been a seniority list posting made, we ask that same be compiled <br />and posted in the Street Department, where all employees can observe, and that this <br />list be adhered to in all action pertaining to said employees. <br />Signed H. Cottrell <br />Executive Committee <br />The Board, after discussing this Matter, ordered that petition be placed on file <br />for consideration at a later meeting. <br />`'/ This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No. 2489, <br />same being vacation of a portion of the south side of Western Avenue. <br />In the above named Assessment Roll no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrances were filed, and the Board fully advised in the premises finds that <br />the several lots and barcels of land have been benefitted in the amounts shown on <br />said roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment roll and <br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification <br />and proceedings ,closed. The Board now orders said Assessment Roll delivered to <br />the Department of Finance. <br />f A communication was received from the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company <br />asking permission to reconstruct the manhole located near the southwest corner of <br />the intersection of Michigan Street and Western Avenue, in accordance with their <br />blue print No. 137-224. On recommendation of Mr. Qualls this permission was granted. <br />A communication was received from the Blake Wall Paper Mills outlining the <br />method of procedure in unloading carloads of wall paper supplies, in connection with <br />their petition for the establishment of a sidetrack at said plant. After reviewing <br />their proposal, the Board decided to request more definite statements regarding <br />their method of unloading and whether it would mean the blocking of Summers Court <br />while unloading. The Clerk was instructed to communicate with the Blake Wall Paper. <br />Mills and ask that a revised Resolution be presented. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:00 A.
