Strang 2.00 <br />• <br />• <br />A Petition,signed by twenty-three residents in the neighborhood of Pleasant Street <br />to the St. Joseph River between 28th and 29th Streets, requesting that the public be <br />forbidden to dump rubbish on the gravel pits in that vicinity,,was referred to Mr. Weer, <br />Street Commissioner. <br />A communication from the Colpaert Realty Company was received, advising that they <br />would within the next thirty days remove the posts and shrubbery at intersection on <br />Mishawaka Avenue from 30th to 35th Streets. <br />Mr. John Buczkowski appeared before the Board and complained about the lights to <br />the approaches of the subway at Western Avenue and Walnut Street and that these lights <br />should be increased in power. He was advised that our present appropriation would not <br />justify this additional expense and that an investigation, would be made to see if any <br />improvement could be arrived at. <br />Communication from Don 0. Wilson of the Studebaker Corporation, referred to the <br />Board by the Common Council, with reference to making Lincoln Way Test a Boulevard <br />instead of Colfax Avenue, was ordered placed on file. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:45 A. M. <br />ATTEST: Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />ADDENDA: This being the date set for hearing on Vacation Resolution #2485, same being <br />vacation of alley west of Olive Street from Longley Avenue to alley north of Longley <br />Avenue, by regular motion action on this Resolution was postponed until regular meeting <br />of October 28, 1935. <br />This being the date set for hearing of. Vacation Resolution #2482, same being <br />• vacation of Leeper Avenue from the north line of Angella Avenue to the north city limits <br />by regular motion hearing on this Resolution was postponed until regular meeting of <br />April 20, 1936. <br />
