(4)Described mn'preNmiseversus software delivery options, <br />Features and functionality are identical for on -premises and Tyler SaaS hosting. The biggest <br />differences between the two hosting options are cost, infrastructure setup, and administration. <br />On -premises clients license the software and pay annual maintenance that includes nokvvane support <br />and future application updates, Tyler SaaS clients pay an annual subscription that also includes <br />software support and application updates, but also covers hosting and administration for all Tyler <br />applications. <br />On -premises hosted clients are responsible for setup and maintenance ofall infrastructure, <br />networking, and third -party licensing (OS, KDWK4I). <br />Tyler SaaS hosting includes the following: <br />w System Administration. Tyler performs daily administrative tasks. We address the installation, <br />upgrade, support and file maintenance of the Tyler appfication and database servers, operating <br />system, database and application fi{es. <br />• Security Administration, Tyler provides secure data transmission paths from each client <br />workstation tothe Tyler servers. 'User ids, passwords and appUcationaccess rights for the VPN <br />and the Tyler application are administered by Tyler with the client's final approval. <br />� Hardware Performance Maintenance. Tyler supplies and maintains all necessary hardware <br />required to provide workstation acce,ss to the Tyler applications at standard industry <br />` performance levels. All repairs, upgrades, and replacements to server hardware are the <br />� responsibility ofTyler, <br />� <br />� Disaster Recovery & Fault Tolerance. Tyler backs up all system & data fiIes and stores them in <br />secure off -site location. We have fuDyredundant telecommunications access, electrical power, <br />and required hardware to provide access to the Tyler applications in the event of a disaster or <br />component failure, <br />|(5)'prmvide a system overview, including amoverview ofthe tecbnicaUarchitecture and the proposed <br />hardware environment; <br />Tyler applications are multi'tiened, typica|iymnsisting of a 3-tier architecture; web, application, and <br />database tiers. Tyier apphcations are deployed exclusively on industry �ading Microsoft stack uf <br />technologies, utilizing Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Internet Information Services, <br />Office, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server Analysis Services.
