The following figure <br />and text breaks out each of these phases in further detail. <br />Figure 2 - NorthStar Project Phases <br />Phase One: Planning and Scoping <br />NorthStar Utilities Solutions CIS Delivery Leaders begin the implementation by facilitating Project Planning <br />and Scoping sessions to define and set the project's objectives, scope, and expectations. Attended by the <br />organization's key stakeholders, these sessions will include a review of the CIS solution's functionality, the <br />organization's current business processes, and an introduction to the NorthStar Utilities Solutions Customer <br />Information System Implementation Methodology. The deliverables from the Project Planning sessions can <br />include the following: <br />• Project Charter and Project Plan <br />• Project roll -out strategy and key success factors <br />• Common definition and understanding of all requirements <br />• Understanding and documentation of the Clients current business process, roles and <br />responsibilities and IT Infrastructure <br />• Outline of the project's objectives and scope <br />• Definition of the Project Team's governance, roles and responsibilities (Methodology training) <br />NorthStar Proposal Response — South Bend Indiana <br />
