Proposed Soltifion <br />Infor's, Approach to End -user Training <br />One of the most critical success factors in realizing the benefits of any new and integrated Enterprise <br />solution is training. Our mission is to enable our customers to lower their total cost of ownership and <br />realize the benefits of the Infor solution as soon as possible, and we do this by providing a <br />comprehensive training and on -going lear6ing and performance support solution for end users. Infer <br />believes that the following criteria are essential for the success of any end user training solution: <br />• Performance and outcome -based focus — an end user training solution must focus on the <br />business tasks the employees perform, not system functionality. The overall goal of the solution <br />should be to prepare individuals to do their jobs, or run, their organizations, leveraging the new <br />processes and tools, not focus on how the system works. <br />• Blended approach — today's learners expect to be able to access their learning when they want <br />it, how they want it, and when they need it, in easily digestible chunks. Our experience has shown <br />that there are significant benefits to a learning solution that offers a blend of traditional instructor - <br />led training augmented by online learning (eLearning) and micro -learning elements. Training can <br />be deployed in multiple modalities to meet the diverse learning needs of our customers' <br />employees. <br />• Instructional effectiveness — focusing on performance goals, the training content and activities <br />should be tailored to the achievement of those goals, to enhance the instructional effectiveness of <br />the materials for each user audience. <br />• Sustainable solution — the needs for end user training won't go away after Go -Live. There will <br />be an ongoing need to train new employees and to cross -train or re-train individuals as they <br />change jobs or their organization goals change. <br />Well trained users will drive higher productivity and reduced support costs. With this focus, we help our <br />customers increase return on their business and technology investments by reducing employee time -to - <br />competence and improving overall job performance. <br />End User Training Design & Development Methodology <br />In order to ensure a performance and outcome -based focus for an end user solution, Infor follows a <br />proprietary methodology to objectively assess the learning needs and provide recommended solutions <br />that are targeted on end user performance. We follow a proprietary methodology for the design and <br />development of our customers' training solutions making modifications as needed to align with customer's <br />project requirements and established methodologies. <br />PerformanceVisionO ensures a performance -based blended learning solution that meets the needs of all <br />users, from employees to managers to core system users. Continuously improved over more than 20 <br />years, this methodology ensures clairity, consistency, and high quality in all of Infer's training services <br />through customer alignment, user -focused analysis, deliverable prototyping, stringent version control], and <br />an active (lessons -learned process.
