Councilmember Dr. David Varner asked, How many people do we staff over there? <br /> Mr. Schmidt replied, I have no idea. <br /> Councilmember Dr. Varner requested that information be brought forth at the 7:00 p.m. Council <br /> meeting. <br /> Committee Chair White asked, There is an indicated slight increase for years two (2) and three <br /> (3), do you know what those percentages would be? <br /> Mr. Schmidt replied,My understanding is it is about one hundred dollars ($100) a month. <br /> Councilmember Oliver Davis asked, Is there adequate parking over there? <br /> Mr. Schmidt replied, I don't think there are any concerns about that. At least,they weren't <br /> voiced to me when it came to the renegotiation of the lease. <br /> Committee Chair White opened the floor to members of the public wishing to speak in favor of <br /> or in opposition to the legislation. There were none. She then turned the floor back to the <br /> Committee for further comment or main motion. <br /> Committeemember John Voorde made a motion to send Bill No. 17-52 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation.
