<br />ImprovemEnt resolution No.2445 for the pavement of Huron Street from 2I2' feet
<br />west of Arnold. Street to east curb line of Webster, Street. (See files for copy of
<br />resolution. )
<br />In the above named improvement resolutions, the Board., hereby, orders that
<br />on the 30th. , day of June I93I, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall
<br />at I0:00 A. M . , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or
<br />affected by said imrorovemEt s and will decide wl-b�the r the benefits to the several lots
<br />and parcels of land li.abl- to be assessed for said improvements, will be equal to the
<br />estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer: The Board further orders
<br />that notices of said hearings be published in the South Bend "ribume and Mirror on the
<br />I2th. , day of June and on the I9th., day June I93I, according to law, and that notices
<br />be itai led to property a�ners according to law.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2437
<br />for the pavement of Ben d ix give from point I0. feet north of center line of Crumstoirm
<br />Avenue to the southerly line of Lincoln t',ay West. (5{ee files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no
<br />written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being folly advised. in the premises,
<br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
<br />for said improvement, will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
<br />City Engineer. The Board, t harefore, d ecid es to take f inal action on said improvement
<br />resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without
<br />modification. The Board now orders that on the 23rd. , day of June 1931. this Board
<br />will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement
<br />up to I0:00 A. ITT. The Board further orders that notices- of said proposals shall be
<br />published in the South Pend Tribune and Mlirror on the I2th., day of June and on the
<br />I9th., day of June I93I, according to law.
