Brookfield Street. This temporary building 11 <br />was moved from it's original location on this sane lot a short time ago, necessitatingil <br />a special permission from.the Board for it's ma.ntenance due to set back lines establishe <br />ed on this street. <br />This be inp the date set,,_ hear in€f was had on Comdemnat i on Resolution <br />No.2435 fctr the ope ing of California Avenue from Chicago, Indiana and Southern R. R. <br />right of way to V'Vilber Street. ( See files for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named Condemnaticm Resolution No.2435, Attorney G. A. <br />Farabaugh, representing the New York CEritral Ra ilroad CoTpany and other representative <br />of said -r=e Broad. company were present , protesting ag^ ins t the opening of said street. <br />A written remonstrance was filed against said opening and the Board,. after hearing all <br />persons interested in said condemnation resolution, decides to continue hearing until <br />Tu es day , June 2 nd . , 1931, at I0 : 0 0 A. M. . <br />Payroll. claims for various departments amounting to I3,375.85 were <br />si gned. and approved by the Board. <br />The boa rd als o approve d pa y r oll claims in the amount o f $433. 33 ark. <br />hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of `l'ra. ck Elew Lion fund. <br />The Board approved claims for various departments in the amount of <br />I2,535.54. <br />Meeting adjourned at 12 o'clock noon. <br />,ttested: <br />C1 k of the Board <br />Monday, June I st. , I93 I. <br />Board met in special session at 9 A. TVIT. Mayor �+. h. Hinkle present. <br />A�j members p resent. <br />Mr. lwm. S. I gore, engineer, and 1,r. - atthews, representatives of the <br />Burns & I-tcDonnell Engineer ing Company were present and filed the report on the sewage-'.. <br />disposal in the City of South trend. h1r. Matthews gave an,'abridged outline of the impor- <br />tant facts contained in the written reported. which was filed. <br />The .board signed and a?oproved the claim o-f the -burns & n-1eDonnell Uo., <br />r the sewage disposal report in the amount of �4, 50 0.00 and the Boa rd , hereby, orders- <br />ity Uontroller to pay same. <br />Meeting adjourned at II-30 A.
