Utility Coordination: CBBEL will coordinate with the utility company representatives to <br />collect input and identify potential utility relocation needs. This task will include the <br />distribution of the preliminary design plans to affected local utilities. Information <br />gathered during this task will be shown on the final construction plans. <br />Bid Services: CBBEL will provide three (3) full copies of the final design documents to <br />the City prior to bidding. CBBEL will assist the City in conducting a pre -bid conference at <br />a location of the City's choosing. CBBEL will address contractor questions and prepare <br />and issue addenda. Following bid opening, CBBEL will compile and certify bid <br />tabulation sheets and provide a contract award recommendation to the Owner. It is <br />assumed that City staff or representatives will coordinate the bid collection, bid opening, <br />and the preparation of the construction agreement. <br />EXCLUDED SERVICES <br />1. Environmental investigation or site remediation design related to hazardous <br />materials, soil or groundwater contamination, underground storage tanks, or other <br />environmental hazard. <br />2. Land acquisition services, right -of -way engineering, right -of -way management and <br />supervision, title work, appraisal problem analysis, appraising, review appraising, <br />buying /negotiations, or relocation services. <br />3. Archaeological investigations for the project areas or adjacent areas. <br />4. Construction staking for the selected contractor or field staking of easements, <br />right -of -way, or property boundaries. <br />5. Flow metering review or installation. <br />6. Construction Observation Services. <br />7. Landscape design services. <br />8. Utility relocation plans or design services. <br />SCHEDULE <br />Services by CBBEL for this project will be provided according to the following schedule: <br />Additional Survey <br />Dewatering of Existing Detention Ponds <br />Additional Geotechnical Investigation <br />Design, Permits, & Utility Coordination <br />Bid Services <br />10 days from the NTP <br />5 days from the NTP <br />(Weather permitting) <br />5 days after Dewatering of Ponds <br />90 days from the NTP <br />TBD by the City <br />@3 Christopher B.
