We will analyse daily :samples of the asphalt cement and the finished pav- <br />ing m xtiwes for every day the asphalt plant is in operation on your work, sending <br />copies of all the analyses simultaneously to y cUr Bngineer and_ to our plant inspector <br />for their mutual guidance and to complete your records in case of some future critic <br />ism of the work. <br />5. VVe agree to assist ,your Engine er in the p le, p,_ration or modiP ice tion of <br />your asphalt specifi cations if he so desires. <br />6. We agree to assist the Contractor in the selection of the materials most <br />1 suitbble for y-ur projects, analyzing in advance of his ordering same such samples <br />as are submitted to us by the Contractor or by your Engineer with that object in <br />view.: This prevents the Contractor from ordering materials that may Inter be found <br />to be unsatisf=-ctory for voi3r �.=k. <br />7. ''e agree to }eke careful analyses of the samples of Refined_ asphalt a.nd, <br />j fluxing Oil submitte v.,ith the bids of the Contrrctors, advising your Engineer as to <br />which materials ,emmply with your specifications or are otherwise satisfecotry for <br />your purposes. <br />e. We agree to a ssist ,your Engineer in every possible way toward the success <br />of th.e im-orovem?nts, offering such p ersonal advise as he may desire with reference <br />to the pro �er 1 crying of the mixtures on the street, etc. Oir e xp e-- ienc ed plant <br />i.nsrector will also be instructed to assist your Engineer, when so requested, with <br />the s treet erx� of the asphalt work, so long as same does not interfere with his <br />proper functioning at the plant. <br />9.
