Minutes of meet- <br />ings held September P.nd . , and September 3rd. , 1930, read and approved. <br />The Board approved the Excavation Bond of the South Side Plumbing Company of <br />Mishawaka in the amount of I,000.00 signed by The Aetaa CasuAlty and Surety Co. <br />The Board approved the Cuarantee Bond of The Albert Construction Company for the <br />pavement on Elarine Street from Indiana Avenue to New York Central Railroad under Im- <br />provement Resolution No . 2269 in the amount of $420.02 signed by IIet zo polnt an Casualty <br />Company. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the <br />pavement on Humboldt Street frp, Allen Street to Diamond Avenue under Improvement Res- <br />olution No.2357 in the amount of $290.02 signed by Metropolitan Casualty Company, <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the <br />pavement pn Oakside Street from Michigan Street to Main Street under Improvement Resol <br />tion No.2336 in the amount of $296.07 signed by Metropolitan Casualty Company. <br />Upon the recommendation of Tfim.. F. Qualls, the Board approve' the installation of <br />a 4000 lumen light at the corner of Michigan and Woodt1de Streets at a cost of $45.00 <br />per year. <br />• <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the local <br />sewer in Louise Street under Improvement Resolution No.2382. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue hearing until <br />Tuesday, September I6th., I930, at I0:00 A. M. <br />City Engineer, H. G. ¢ray, 'filed plans and the Board adopted said plans together <br />with the following Vacation Resolution: <br />Copy of Vacation Resolution No.2396. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That I <br />• <br />it is desirable to vacate the following: I" <br />r <br />A portion of Carroll Street, along the New York Central Railroad right of way <br />lying immediately North of the portion vacated by Resolution No.2050, more particular <br />ly described as follows: <br />Beginning on the west line of Carroll Street at a point Two Hundred seventy four <br />- <br />and twenty five hundredths (274.251) feet south of the south line of Bronson Street, <br />thence southeasterly to a goint of the East line of Carroll Street distance south of <br />the south- dine of Bronson treet three hundred eighty and eighteen hundredths (380.I81 )! <br />feet, thence north along the East line of Carroll. Street, thirty rive and e :ghteen <br />hundredths (35.
