Tue s day , July 2 9th . , 1930. <br />L <br />Avenue from Fcrd Street to Huron Street under Improvement Resolution No.2340 in the <br />amount of 2,189.40, <br />Final Estimate for the grade, curb and walk improvement on the <br />south side of Ruskin Street from alley west of Clover Street to Oakland Street under <br />Improvement Resolution 1' o. 2311 in the amount of 351.06. <br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read <br />for the grading of Johnson Street from south line of ±'ershing Street to Wilson Street <br />under Improvenent Resolution Dlo.23,79. Bids are as follcws: <br />• Frame and Zimmer 0. L . D'aVis John F. Hipskind <br />grading .75 .49 .65 <br />This being the da -e set, bids were received, opened_ and. read <br />for the grade and walk improvement on the scuth side of Indiana avenue from Brookfield <br />Street to Olive Street under Improvement Resolution 11o.2376. Jos eph County, Indiana , that he is the owner in fee <br />dimple of Lot Numbered. eight (8-) in Vogt` s First Addition to the City of South Bend, <br />State of India n;_ . <br />He further shows that said Board of Public Yorks, on the 9th., <br />day of July, 1930, prepared and filed a list or Assessment Roll, wherein and whereby <br />it assessed the benefits and dam.a;.ges for lands taken and pr opered to be appropriated <br />for the widening of Nancy Street in said city.. That among; the lots and lands to and <br />against which benefits and damages were so assedsed is said. Lot No.8. <br />That benefits were assessed against said lot, and against him as <br />the owner thereof, in the smm of. �I20.00; and that dames to said lot, and to him as <br />• <br />the owner, --thereof, were and are assessed in the sum of 500.00. <br />He further shows that the contemplated widening of said Nancy <br />Street will take thirty feet off the east end of said lot. <br />And he now remonstrates against said assessment of benefits and <br />damp. ees made in and by said Assessment call, for the following reasons: <br />I. He says that the benefits so assessed are wholly erroneous, <br />j <br />in that said lot will not be benefited in any sum whatever, <br />2.
