Tuesday, July 22nd. , I930. Board met in regular session at 9 A. 11. All members present. Minutes of meeting held July I5th . , 1930 , read and approved. The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of W. J. Nees for the pavement of the west one half of Logan Street under Improvement Resolution No:232I in the amount of $11662.36 signed by the Southern Surety Company. The Bo^ rd approved the Contractors Bond. in favor of Whitcomb and Keller in the amount of $I,000.00 signed by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York. The Board signed the contrset with Rieth Riley Construction Company for the pavement on Cedar Street from West line of Arthur Street to Sunnyside Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2370 in the amount of 6�37I,69. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50 of the contract price" signed by Southern 'surety Co. The Board signed the contract with Rocco Simeri for the construction of the locals ewer in Louise Street under Improvement Resolution No.2382 in the amount of 676. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 100% of the contrrct price s igne d. by the National bur e ty Company. City Engineer, H. G. ° ray, filed the following final estimates: Final Estimate for the-Qavement of the wlley crest of Scott Street from Dubail Avenue to Calvert Street under Improvement Resolution. No.2350 in the amount of 12349.90. Final Estimate for the pavement of the alley west of Riverside Drive from St. Joseph Street to Navarre Street under Improvement resolution No.2349 in the amount of 1536.046 Final Estimate for the pavement of the alley west of Taylor Street from LaSalle Avenue to Ist. , alley north cf LaSalle Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2351, in the amount of 471.06. Final Esti)rAte for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Falcon Street from Jefferson Street to Colfax Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2365 in the amount of 2706.50. The Board approved the redistribution of assessments for the pavement on 22nd Street under Improvement Resolution No.I742 as drown on the schedule presented by City Engineer, H. G. Wray. The Board approved the redistribution cf assessments for the 24th., Street Sewer under Improvement Resolution No.I644 as shown on -be schedule presented by City Engineer, H. G. Wray. The Board approved the redistribution of assessments for the River Park Sewer No. 3 under Improvement keso lu tion No.1283 as shown on the schedule. presented by City Engineer, H. ?% Wray. All of the above redistribution of assessments for improvementm were appro ed upon a petition from the Standard Oil Company under date of July I5th. , 1930. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls: Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Falcon Street from Jefferson Street to `oltflhx Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2365. Assessment roll for the uavement on the alley west of Scott Street from Dubail �renue to Scott Street under Improvement Resolution N0.2350. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley west of Taylor .Street from LaSappe Avenue to Ist. , alley north cf LaSalle Avenue under Improvement resolution No.2351. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley wrest of Riverside Drive from St. Joseph Street to Navarre Street under Improvement resolution No.2349, . In al.l of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders that on the 6th. , day cf August, 1930, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several: lots and parcels cf land have been or v.211 be be ne fi ted in the amounts shorn on said rolls or in a greater or less sum than that sho,im on said rolls. The Board further orders that notices of said he ar ings shall be published on the 25th . day cJuly, on the 26 th.. , day e July and. on the Ist. , day of AAgust 1930, in the Routh Bend Tribune and. News Times according to law. The Board approved pay roll claims for various departments in the amount of 796I0.97. The Board approved claims in the amount of $I.376.74. The Board approved a pay roll claim of 433.33 for engineer and clerk in connection with grade separation and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Track Elevation Fund. • • • A 0 •
