Minutes <br />of meetings held June 24th. , 1930, read and approved. <br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates <br />and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improve <br />ment resolutions <br />Improvement Resolution No.2378 for the grade, curb- and walk improvement <br />on the North side of 1 ishawalm Avenue from Longfellow Avenue to the east line of Lot <br />1015 in -�unnymede 4th. , Addition. (See files f car• copy of re soluti-on. ) <br />• Improvement Resolution No.2379 for the gxadecurb end. walk improvement <br />on . prookf ie ld Street from Indiana avenue to Prairie Avenue* (See <br />See files f-or copy of <br />resolution. ) <br />Improvement -Resolution No.2380 for the pavexren.t of SwyMrt Street <br />j from Indiana. Avenue to iNer Jersey, Indiana and Illinois R. R. (See files for copy of <br />1 resolution.) <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions,: the Board, hereby, <br />orders tha t on the 2 3rd. , day of July 1930 , this Board will meet in their off ice in the <br />City Fall at 7-15 P. M.. to hear end receive remonstrances from all persons whose pro- <br />• i perty is liable to be assessed for said improverents and will decide whether the bene- <br />fits to the several lots and parcels of land liable tD be assessed for said improvements <br />will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer. 'The <br />Board fur the r orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 3rd ., <br />day of "July and on the IOth., day of July 1930 in the South -bend Taibune and Mirror <br />11 acdording to law. <br />City Engineer, H. The Board signed and approved <br />same in the amount of $109057.62. <br />Upon the petition of H. N. Fristoe of 1129 South Lafayette Street, the <br />!i Board granted him the privilege of it ing' the northwest corner of Michigan and Sample <br />Streets <br />and also the northwest corner of Michigan and Garst Streets for the purpose <br />P <br />of selling newspapers. This privilege was <br />gP ge granted �;�.th the understanding that the <br />consent of the occupants of both corners had been obtained by Mr. Tristoe. <br />j The Board signed the contract with Whitcomb and Keller for the ga d ing <br />of. Longley Avenue from Huey Street to Olive Street under Improvement Resolution No. <br />'in <br />2364 the amount of 379.75..
