This does not constitute a majority therefore the <br />Board orders bids to be received on June IOth., 1930, as preiriously, ordered. <br />Bids having been received for the local sewer in Lddy Street from St. <br />Vincent street to City Limits under Improvement Resolution No.23411 the Board this 27th <br />day cf May 1930, hereby wards the contract for saidimprovement to A. Spad.oni at iais <br />low bid of I, 650.58. <br />City Engineer H. G. Wray.- filed partial estimate No.I for the grade, <br />curb and walk im?orovenent on S rin Street under Improvement Resolution No.2327 in accord <br />ance with the terms of the contract between the City and. 1. N. Barnes. The Board signed <br />land approved sarre in the amount of $I,920.78. <br />I' The Board approved the final estimate for the grade, curb and. walk improv <br />ment on L-nderson Avenue from King Street to Bulls Street under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2207 in the amount of 2,858,58, as submitted by City Engineer, H. G. The <br />;$card further af-ders that notices of said hearing shall be published according to law <br />in the South Bead Tribune and News Times. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Improvement Resolu- <br />jt ion No. 23 62 for the widening and pavement of Portage Avenue ffom south curb line of <br />avarre Street to Keller Street. <br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators ' app eared but <br />ao written remonstrance was filed and the Board., being fully advised on the premises <br />decides to modify said resolution to read as follows: <br />"Widen and pavement Portage A -venue from the south curb line of Elwood <br />• Avenue to Keller btreet." <br />With this modification, finds that the benefits to khe several lots and <br />eparcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal 'to the modified <br />stimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer and that the improvement is nec- <br />essary and therefore, the board, d-cues to take final action on said modified resolution <br />land declares same in all things rat ified, conf irnsed and. approved as mod ified. <br />The Board approved claims fbr various departments in the amount of <br />10'I9641.I0. <br />j The board approved pay roll claims for various departments in the amount <br />• ,If j139953.66. <br />j The Board approved a pay r-,11 claim in the amount of �433.33 and hereby <br />i�rd era the City Controller to P a, s ame out o f Track r-leva ti on Fund . <br />The hoard approved two claims of the -New York Central Hailzoad Company <br />n connection with Track Elevation work in the amount of $2,946.83 and $6,287.83 for work <br />n connection with with 1odified Track Elevation Resolution No.4 and hereby orders City <br />ontroller to pay same out of Track Elevation Fund. <br />• Upon the re comme nd ^t ion of Fire 8hld<f Roy Knowbloc k, the board approved <br />the proposal of Harry Koehler for painting nose uouse i�o.7 with 2 coats of lead and oil <br />pa ilfthng Hose house No.7 with 2 coats of lead and oil and painting the scale house with <br />2 coats of lead and oil at a total cost of 03529009 sane to be paid out of appvopriation <br />0 <br />
