Minutes of meetings held.,May 20th., and May 21st., 1930, read and. appmoved. City Engineer, B. G. Fray, filed plans an6_ specifications and estimates and. the Board. adopted said plans and specific ^tions to&et%er with the following improve- ment resolutions: Imp rovertient-Hesolution No. 2372 for the local sevrer in'Yelkus Court between Oak Street and Lincoln Way ffest.. (See files for copy cf resolution.) Imimovement Resolution No.2373 for the pavement of Melkns Court from Oak Street to Lincoln Way pest. ( See files for copy of resolution.) In both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on. the ISth., day of June I930,. this Board will meet in their office in the City Nall at 7-I5 P. 11,. , to hear and ieceive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots andp@rcels of land liable to be assessed for said impivverants will be equal to the estimated costs'of same as reported by the City Engineer. `'L e Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 30th., day of Iday and on the 6th. , day of June I930 ,. in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror according to law and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law. No petitions having, been filed f or a change in the type f pavement other than that specified in the p re�iminary order for the pavement of . Eddy treet. ( a 3 foot strip on each side of the County pavement) fran North curb line of South Bend Avenue to City Limits under Improvement -hesolution No.2342, the Boerd this 27th.9 day of May 1930 hereby makes a final. order for concrete pavement as the type of pavement with which said street shall.be improved and awards the contract for said improvement to Gross Construct Company at their low bid of $6,107.02 for concrete 7bavement. No petitions having been filed for a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Greenlawn Avenue from Mishawaka Avenue to Sunnymede Avenue under improvement Resolution No.2265, the Board this 27th. , day of May 1930, hereby makes a final order for sheet asphalt pavement as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and. awards the contract far saidimprovement to Albert Construction Company, at their low bid CC 025,384.85 for sheet asphalt heavy traffic pavement. City %pineer, F. G. Wray, submitted a report on the petition for a change in the type of pa w ment other then that specified in the preliminary order for the pave- ment of Oakside Street from Michigan Street to Main Street under Improvement Resolution No.2336, showing that 2 resident property cwners out cf three have petitioned for asphaltic concrete.
