<br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. IT. Ai`�r. W. R. Hinkle
<br />absent.
<br />This being the date set., hearing v1ras had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement on Duey Street from Lincoln `lay West to 1wood Avenue under Improve
<br />ment Resolution No.2260.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrances were filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the
<br />premises finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the
<br />amounts shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on
<br />said assessment roll and declares same in all things retified, confirmed and approv
<br />ed and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered
<br />to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement on -Donald Street from Leer Street to Sampson Street under Improve-
<br />ment Resolution i�o.2273.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no remonstrators appeared and the .hoard being fully advised in the premises,
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited_ in the amounts
<br />shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action
<br />on said primary assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed,
<br />and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders
<br />said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement on Monroe Street from Kaley Street to Olive Street under Implovemen-
<br />Resolution No.2270.
<br />In the above named assessment remonstrators appeered but no
<br />written remonstrance was filed and after heering all persons interested in said
<br />roll, the .hoard decides to make the following modifications on said assessment roll:
<br />Reduce the assessment on Lot No.838 Summit Place 3rd., Addition
<br />owned by Walter J. & Frances rlasarz, from 6I7.66 to 467.66, a reduction of �,$I50.00.
<br />Reduce the assessment on Lot 842 Summit Place 3rd. Addition,
<br />owned by Jan & Yaryanna. Rozewicz, from 2I9.I2 to 209.I2, a reduction of 10.00 or
<br />allowing for the sewer extension charge.
<br />Reduce the assessment on Lot 846 Summit Place 3rd., Addition
<br />owned by Stanley and Louisa Klote, from 632.58 to 6I7.58, a reduction of -$I5.00 or
<br />allowing for the sewer extension charge.
<br />With the above modificrtions , the Board finds that the several
<br />lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said' assessment
<br />roll and therefore, the Board takes final action on said modified roll and declares
<br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and appmvec as modified and the proceedings
<br />closed. The Board further orders that the amount of these reductions shall be paid
<br />for by the City of South Bend, Irdiana, out of the appropriation for refunds,, awards
<br />and indemnities. The Board nor orders said modified assessment roll delivered to
<br />the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing_ was kad on the assessment rol
<br />for the sewer in "Amer Street from Longley Avenue to Frederickson Street under Impro
<br />vement Resolution No.2299.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and. no grit ten �remons trance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
<br />premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the
<br />amoun!--s shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on
<br />said. roll and declares same in things ratified, confirmed and approved and the pro-
<br />ceedings closed. The Board further orders said assessment roll delivered to the
<br />Department of Finance.
<br />City 'engineer, H. B. Wray, filed the assessment roll showing th
<br />awards of dame f-es and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the opening of
<br />N.T. corner of Kline and Calvert Street under g ndemnat ion Resolution No.2306.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby, orders
<br />that on the I7th., day of December I929, this Board will meet in their office in the
<br />City hall at I0:00 A. 10., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property has been affected by such condemnation end gill decide whether the several
<br />lots and parcels of land have been or "rill be benefited or damaged in the amounts
<br />shown on said assessment roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearin
<br />shall be delivered to property muners according to law,,
<br />'"his being the date set, he^ring was had on Improvement Resolu-
<br />tion No.2317 for the local sewer improvement on Clyde Street from Altgeld Street to
<br />a point 225 feet north. (See files for copy of resolution. )
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators
<br />cppeared and no written remonstr nce was filed and the Board, being fully advised
<br />'in the -oremises, fines that the benefits to the severel lots and parcels of land
<br />liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of '
