Y. <br />This being the d^te set, hewing was had on the assessment roll <br />for the pavement of Marietta Street from Sample Street to 'alley south of Sample Stre <br />under Imp rov eme nt Resolution No . 22 39 <br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators <br />appeared a.nd. no written -remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised <br />in the premises, fin:-s that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited <br />in the amounts shown on said. assessment roll, and therefore, the Board takes final <br />action on said assessment roll and declares spme in all things ratified, confirmed an <br />approved and the procee('ings closed. The Board. now orders said assessment roll de- <br />livered to the Department of finance. <br />This being the da`:e set,heari,ng was had on the assessment roll <br />for the pavement ofthe alley east of High Street from Calvert Street to Milton Street <br />under Improvement Resolution 1 o.2290. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared aid <br />and no rem.onstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises <br />finds that the several lots and i)arcels of land bave been benefited in the amounts j <br />shoy,n on said assessment roll, and. therefore, the Board decides to take final action <br />on said assessment roll and declares same in all thinks ratified, confirmed and appro� <br />ed without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assess;; <br />ment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. <br />''he .board sighed the contract with Northern Indiana Constructi <br />Company for the sewer improvement on Sample, Vermont Place and Revere Place under <br />Improvement Resolution lvo.23I4 in the amount of $4,I00.75, The Board also approved <br />the construction bond of same in the amount of IMj of the contract price signed by <br />Great American Indemnity Co. <br />The Board approved the follov*ing Guarantee Londs: <br />Guarantee Bond for the --Albert Construction Company for the <br />pavement improvement on %onroe Street from K ley Street to Olive Street under Improve <br />ment Resolution P0.2270 in the amount of $I,110.06 signed by Inland Bonding `'ompany. <br />Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the pav <br />improvement on Donal d Street from Leer Street to Sampson Street under Improvement <br />Resolution Po.2273 in the amount of �2,552.99, signed by Inland Bonding Uo. <br />CuFrantee Bond of f-'. N. Barnes for the pavement of the alley <br />east of Y1igh street from Calvert Street to ra=ilton Street under Imp:rovement Resolutio. <br />No.2290 in the amount of 445.22 signed by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company <br />Guarantee Bond of H. N . Barnes for the. pavement of the alley <br />north of Colfax Avenue from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement <br />Resolution Ao.2258 in the amount of I3I.06 signed by United Staten Fidelity and <br />Guaranty Company. <br />Guarantee Bond of Edi:la.rd DeJulio for the see -per improvement on <br />Elmer Street from Longley Avenue to Frederickson Street finder Improvement Resolution <br />hjo.2299 in the amount of �133.95 signed by Great American Indemnity Company. <br />City Engineer, N. C. :gray, filed the primary assessment roll <br />for the pavement on Huey Street from Lincoln Way West to Elwood Avenue under Improve- <br />ment Eeso lu ti on 1\ o . 2260. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders tha <br />on the 4th., dad; of December 19219, this Board will meet in their' o,ffic.e in the City <br />Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear end receive remonstrances from'all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said. impro-vement and will decide nether the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said primary <br />roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be publigh.ed on <br />the 29th., da.v of November and on the 30th., day of lJovember I929, in the South Bend <br />News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />1;he -board approved the Contractors Bond of Fred Futter covering <br />the contract between said Fred Futter and the Board of Public 7�orks for the installa- <br />tion of a the heating system in the 1-orthw.est Fire Stati on Vo.II in the amount of <br />"I J57.84 signed by the Mletropoli tan Casualty Insurance Company. The Bo^ rd also <br />signed. the contract with .Fred Putter for the installation of the heating system in <br />the Northvrest fire Station Eo.II in the amount of $I,I57.84. <br />The Board approved the Contractors Bone'._ of the Smogor Lumber <br />Company covering the contr^ct be'tween said Smogor Lumber Company and the Board of <br />Public Works for the general contract of the building of the lRorthwest Fire Station <br />No.II in the amount of QI4,794.00 sJ fined by .Employers Li-ebility Assurance Corroration <br />The Board also signed the contract with the Smogor Lumber Company for the general <br />contract for the building of the Northwest .Fire Station No.II in the amount of <br />$142794.00. <br />City .Engineer, ram. G.
