APPROVED BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDi ANA NOMETBER I2th. I929 JOHN K. SMOGOR RALPH H. KUSS" This being tre date set, hearing we had on the assessment roll fo the pavement of Altgeld Street, Victoria - Street and Vernon Street in R,idgedale 5th. , addition under Improvement Resolution No.2024. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and n remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises fines that the several lot s and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts named' on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decid=s to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceed ings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. Upon the recommendation of gym.. F. Qualls, the Board approved the petition of the Indiana Bell Telephone Company to replace aerial cable in the area south of F-irview and east of South Michigan Street, as outlined in their petition of November Ist . , 1929 The - Boa.rd approved the pay rolls for the va ri ou s departments in the 'amount of $8,3I5,12. ' The Board approved the claims for various departments in the amount of 4,833.44, and the Board hereby orders City Controller to pay said claims and payrolls out of various appropriations mentioned on claims.
