<br />This being the date set, hearing was had an the assessment roll for the pavement
<br />of Meade Street from Lincoln ',stay 'Nest to Elwood Avenue under Improvement resolution
<br />T?o.2227.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, several remonstrators appeared but no written
<br />remonstrance was filed and the Board after hearing all. persons interested in said assess
<br />went roll , decides to eliminate Lot 37' in i�al eys Lincoln Highway 2nd.., addition- and
<br />j also lots 7, I2,42, 435 44, 54-end 55 in'Lincoln Terrace Addition, for the reason that
<br />when these additions were paved under the 55% waiver law, these lots were assessed for
<br />all of the intersections in the, additions. The reduction of these assessments in the
<br />ii
<br />ji amount of 1255.9I.to be paid for by the City of South .Bend out of the appropriation
<br />for refunds, .awards and, indemnities. With this modification, the Board finds that the
<br />:Iseveral lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been
<br />benefited in the amounts shown on said . roll and therefore, .the Board tam es final action
<br />on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved, as mods--
<br />fled. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance

<br />curb 'walk •waland pavement improvement on Nancy Street, Prast, 'Frederickson, Hartzer,
<br />Bonds and ^reeve Streets in. accordance with the terms of the contract between the City
<br />and the 7illis ton Construction Company, contractors, under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />2286. The Board signed and approved .same in the amount of �24,663.00.

<br />curb, i alk and pavement improvement on=Iestmoor Street from west line of Nancy street
<br />!Ito a point.2635.4 feet west of west line of Nancy Street, in accordance with the terms
<br />of the contract between the City and the Uilliston Construction "Company, contractors,
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.2287. The Board signed and approved same in the amount
<br />of 20,829.21.

<br />facing improvement on Tonti Avenue from Tecumseh Avenue to 'vest line -of Irquois Street,
<br />in, accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the 'IVilliston Const.
<br />Company, contractors, -under Improvement Resolution '_'to.2256. The Board signed and approv
<br />ed same in the amount of-1-I0,59I.02.
<br />The Board approved a claim of the 01illiston Construction Company•1n the amount of
<br />203.50 for remixing the intersection at Beyer and F ishavra'ca Avenue.

<br />In the above named improvement resolution, the. Board hereby or,,^ers that on the
<br />22nd,, day of October I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at IO
<br />A. T%. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be assessed
<br />for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and par eel
<br />of land liable to be assessed will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by
<br />the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be publis
<br />Ad in the South' Send News Times and Tribune on the-28th. , day of September and on the
