Improvement resolution No .2290 for the pavement of the k1ley east of Nigh Street from 1,ilton Street to Calvert street, In both of the above na:n.ed improvement resolutions, no remon- strr= tors appeared and no written remons tra nce was filed and the Board, being fully ad- vised in the premises, finds that the benefits. to the several Tots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of samE as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement resolutions and declares same in all things ratified., confirmed and approved without modification. The Board now orders that on the Ist.,, day cC October 1929, th Board will receive, open and reaa serled proposals for the co4struction of said.' improve ments up to I0:00 A. M. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall 3ublished on the 20th.0 day of September and on the 271t., day of September I929 in the out h Bencl News Times and Tribune according to law. This being; the date set., hearing s were bad on the following vacation resolutions: Vacation Resolution No.229I for the Vacaation Df the alley north of werwinski street from the wrest line of Wilber Street to the west line of Lot 64 in Kauffman Place Addition projected north. ( See files for copy of resolution.) vaca. tion Resolution No.2293 for the Vacation of Lnden Avenue from New York central Railroad rig1-t of Way to the new location of Linden avenge. (See files for copy of resolution.) In all of the above named vacation resoltuojs, no remonstrator. appeared. and no written ^emonstrences we-e filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises decides to take final action on said vacation resolutions and declares same in all things r-tified, confirmed and approved and the street and alley vacated, The Board now orders that lists or rolls be prepared cif' all owners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be affected by :such vacationf which lists or rolls shall also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacations. The Bce rd signed the claim of E. T. Tranberg against the Air Port Department in the amount of 02,779.02. This being the detq set, hearing was had on the resolution for the Vacation of Kankakeerenue from r'eade Street to Linden Avenue under Vacation Res- olution No.2292. (See files for copy of resolution.) I# In the above named vacation resolution, representatives of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company were present remonstrating against said � vacation resolution. After hearing all persons interested in said vacation and being; fully advised in the premises, the Board decides to modify said Vacation Resolution to read as follows: vacation of Kankakee Avenue from the west line of the alley west of Kaley Street to Linden Avenue, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: I Beginning at the intersection of tb e south line of Kankakee Avenue with the west line of the alley west of Kaley Street, thence north to the south right of way line of the New York Central Railroad, thence northwesterly aloo.g said south line to the south lane of Linden Avenue :�roduced eastg thence west along said south lin of Linden Avenye produced east to the south line of Kankakee Avenue, thence southeaster-' ly along the said south . I ine to the west line of the alley west of Kaley Street, the place of beginning, excepting that portion lying within ti-�_e new location of Llfdlan Avenue. With this modification, the Board decides to take final actionii on said Vacetion Resolution and declares sme in all things r^tified, confirmed and approved as modified. The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of ill own-;1 ers end holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken, whichl- list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacation. 11 Meeting adjourned at 9-30 P.
