<br />Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes of
<br />meetings held September 3rd. , and September 4th., I929`, read and approved.
<br />City 1,ngineer, TT. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls:
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement on Douglas Street from Dubail .Avenue to
<br />Brmce Street under Improvement Resolution No.2252.
<br />Assessment roll for the pavement on main Street from Fairview Avenue to
<br />Malley south of `loodside Avenue under Improvement Resolution Ivo.2226.

<br />In both of the above named assessment roils , the Board hereby orders that on
<br />1the I8th., day of September T929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall
<br />jat 7-I5 P. M. $ to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has
<br />"been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and Ioardels
<br />of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment
<br />;rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls. The Board further
<br />,,orders that notices of said haarings shall be published on the I3th., day of September
<br />'land on the I4th. , day of September I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune accord
<br />ing to law.

<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby •orders, that on the

<br />The Board signed the contract with R. Simeri for ,the sewer on `'Iestmoor
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution Mo.2285 it -the az-ount of $I2, 653.40. The Board also
<br />approved the construction' bond of same in the amount of I00% of the contract price
<br />signed by Standard Accident Insurance Co., Detroit, 71richigan.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Rieth Miley Construction Company for the
<br />apavement on '.line Street from south curb line of Lincoln Way Fast to Swing Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution 2to.2254 in the a�^ount of 159,492.51. The Board also approved the
<br />construction bond of same in the amount of 50 of the contract price signed by Southern
<br />,I
<br />Surety Company.
<br />This being the late set, bVs were received, opened and read for the grade,
<br />curb and waft improvement on Farneman Street from T."ichigan Street to Yain Street under
<br />Tmprovement Resolution 7o.2IM Bids are as follows:
