456 Wednesday, august 7 h. , 1929. <br />1 _ <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the .resolution for the gub-trunk''; <br />Sewer in Eckman treet under Improvement Resolution No.2.272. <br />In the above named improvement resolution, the Board .decide.s to take final <br />li action and declares all former action taken in the matter null and void and rescinded <br />anx the proceedings closed. <br />City Engineer, H. G. G. Wray, filed the tabulations of bids for the pavement <br />of the alley south of Division Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street under Impro- <br />vement Resolution No.2257: <br />Frame and Zimmer H. N. Barnes Hoban & Roach H . T. Tranberg <br />concrete I,SI4.40 1,697.20 I,7I2.90 I,724.40 <br />Bids having been received for the pavement of the alley south of Division <br />Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street under Improvement Resolution No.2257 the <br />Board this 7th., day of August, I929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement <br />to H. N. Barnes at his low bid of $1,697.20 f^r concrete pavement light traffic. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the pavement of Olive Street from th <br />the north curb line of Lincoln Nay `Test to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2266. <br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and a <br />written _remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, <br />dbnldeb` to rescind all former action taken on said improvement resolution and declares <br />same null and void and the proceedings closed. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution for the pavement <br />of Swygart Street from 2nd., alley north of Indiana Avenue to concrete pavement on <br />Prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2267. <br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared but no <br />written remonstrance was filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in <br />said resolution, decides to rescind all former action taken on said improvement resod- <br />;� ution and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution for the pavement <br />of Marine Street from New York Central Railroad right of way to Indiana Avenue under <br />improvement Resolution No.2269. <br />In the above named improvement resolution No.2269, the Board finds that <br />there are no water mains between the alley north of Indiana and the Railroad and <br />i� th refore, the Board decides to continue hearing on said resolution until August 2lst. <br />1929. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on resolution for the pavement of <br />Greenlawn Avenue from 1.:`ishawaka, Avenue to Sunnymede Avenue under Improvement Resolutio <br />if No.2265. <br />it <br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and <br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, <br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed: <br />for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the <br />City Engineer and that the improvement is necessary. The Board, therefore, decides to <br />take final action on said resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirm <br />ed and approved without modification. <br />I This being the date set, hearings were had on the following, improvement <br />resolutions: <br />;Improvement Resolution No.2270 for the pavement on, .Monroe Street from Olive , <br />Street to Daley Street. r <br />_ if <br />• <br />U <br />0 <br />• <br />
