<br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby,
<br />orders that on the 7th., day of August I9299 said Board will meet in their office in
<br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Mt., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose I
<br />property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the i
<br />several
<br />lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts -named on said
<br />primary assessment rolls or in a geeater or less sum than that named on said rolls.
<br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be on the 2nd
<br />published
<br />day of August and on the 3rd. , day of August I929, in the South Bend News Times and
<br />Tribune

<br />Bids having been received'for the uavement of Foster Street from
<br />Howrd Street to St. Vincent ''treet under Improvement Resolution No.2247, the Board
<br />this 3lst. day of July I929, hereby makes a preliminary order for concrete pavement
<br />heavy traffic as the type of-avement with which said street shall be improved and
<br />sets the I3th., day of August I929, as the time when said Board shall either pass o
<br />on petitions for a change In the type of pavement other than that specified in the
<br />preliminary order, award the contract or reject all bids.
<br />Bids having been received for the pavement on Tonti Street from
<br />Tecumseh Street to Irquois Street under Improvement Resolution No.2256, the Board
<br />this 3Ist. , day of August, 1929, hereby, makes a preliminary order for sheet asphalt
<br />resurface as :the type of pavement with which said street shall be imps oved and sets
<br />the I3th. , day of August 1929, as the time when said Board shall either act on petiti
<br />ons for a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary
<br />order, award the contract or reject all bids.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution
<br />li No.226I for the pavement of Pleasant ''treet from the alley west of 2Ist. , Street to •
<br />east line of 31st., Street. (See files for copy of resolution.)

<br />In the above named improvement Resolution, remonstrators appeared
<br />and a written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
<br />premises, decides to rescind all -former action taken on said resolution and all
<br />ii proceedings null and void .and the g g procee in s closed.
<br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Improvement
<br />Resolution �I Ny2254 for the pavement on Kline Street from the south curb line of
<br />.

<br />In the above named improvement resolution, _remonstrators- appeared
<br />and Yr. Brie Parker, -appeared, representing about 75% of the resident property owners
<br />on sad street. Mr. Parker requested the Board to. continue action on this resolution
<br />under August 7th.., 1929. Mr. Parker- advised the Board that. the people whom he !
