ASAP Towing & Recovery is licensed by the City of South Bend, to operate the business of vehicle removal and storage - <br />License #16-00002340 <br />ASAP carries all required city and state documentations, certifications and licensures required: <br />USDQT-1566364 IN <br />® MC-615223 <br />In accordance with the request for proposal, ASAP agrees to the following: <br />a. The company agrees not to move or attach any vehicle until instructed to do so by the investigating officer. All <br />company employees will complete training on policies and procedures outlined with the removal, towing, and <br />storage procedures for the city. <br />b. All company employees will cooperate with the investigating officer and comply with requests made in <br />conjunction with the removal of unsafe and/or illegally parked vehicles from the street, and in storing or <br />impounding of such vehicles. <br />c. The company agrees to provide clean-up and removal of all debris from accident scenes, including the removal <br />of hazardous materials and vehicle fluids. (See equipment list for materials used) <br />d. The company will follow vehicle release protocols outlined in the RFP and stated by the City of South Bend <br />Police Department. <br />® Employees will comply with investigation officer by signing and gathering of proper signatures, on scene, <br />for stored vehicle report, <br />e No vehicles will be disposed of, relinquished, or released without proof of ownership, customer <br />identification, and South Bend City stored automobile release form. <br />e. As outlined in subset d — no vehicle will be released or items relinquished without proof of identity, South Bend <br />City stored automobile release form, and payment for services rendered. ASAP Towing & Recovery will bill <br />vehicle owners for services provided — No services will be billed to any city entity, <br />f. ASAP Towing & Recovery agree to notify the city within five business days, in writing, of any person complaining <br />of missing items or damage to a vehicle authorized by the city to tow. The company will abide by South Bend <br />City Municipal Code w- Chapter 20, Sec. 20-13 (C) and Sec. 20-15 (C) which outlines the release of responsibility <br />for The City, its agents, servants or employees, shall not be responsible or liable in any manner for the damage <br />incurred in the towing, storage, possession or disposition of such vehicle. <br />g. All company employees have completed background checks and agree to provide fingerprints and a criminal <br />history search. Employee names will be provided upon request. <br />
