ASAP Towing & Recovery is licensed by the City of South Bend, to operate the business of vehicle removal and storage - License #16-00002340 ASAP carries all required city and state documentations, certifications and licensures required: USDQT-1566364 IN ® MC-615223 In accordance with the request for proposal, ASAP agrees to the following: a. The company agrees not to move or attach any vehicle until instructed to do so by the investigating officer. All company employees will complete training on policies and procedures outlined with the removal, towing, and storage procedures for the city. b. All company employees will cooperate with the investigating officer and comply with requests made in conjunction with the removal of unsafe and/or illegally parked vehicles from the street, and in storing or impounding of such vehicles. c. The company agrees to provide clean-up and removal of all debris from accident scenes, including the removal of hazardous materials and vehicle fluids. (See equipment list for materials used) d. The company will follow vehicle release protocols outlined in the RFP and stated by the City of South Bend Police Department. ® Employees will comply with investigation officer by signing and gathering of proper signatures, on scene, for stored vehicle report, e No vehicles will be disposed of, relinquished, or released without proof of ownership, customer identification, and South Bend City stored automobile release form. e. As outlined in subset d — no vehicle will be released or items relinquished without proof of identity, South Bend City stored automobile release form, and payment for services rendered. ASAP Towing & Recovery will bill vehicle owners for services provided — No services will be billed to any city entity, f. ASAP Towing & Recovery agree to notify the city within five business days, in writing, of any person complaining of missing items or damage to a vehicle authorized by the city to tow. The company will abide by South Bend City Municipal Code w- Chapter 20, Sec. 20-13 (C) and Sec. 20-15 (C) which outlines the release of responsibility for The City, its agents, servants or employees, shall not be responsible or liable in any manner for the damage incurred in the towing, storage, possession or disposition of such vehicle. g. All company employees have completed background checks and agree to provide fingerprints and a criminal history search. Employee names will be provided upon request.
