<br />Monroe Street from Co.rroll Street to the first alley west of ` arroll Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.2249, the Board this 2nd., day of July I929, hereby awards;
<br />the contract for said improvement to Harry N. Barnes at his low bid of 559.00 for
<br />conere.e pavement.
<br />The Board approved the contract for the purphase of light bulbs
<br />for the Trunicipal Air port in the total amount of ` 300.00, subject to a discount of •
<br />21% instandard pac'�ages and II% in broken packages.
<br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of 7. T. Tranberg for the
<br />grade, curb, walk and sewer on Corby Street from the east line of 3rd. , Plat of
<br />Park Place -6'ddition to point 156.2 feet east under Improvement Resolution No.2210t
<br />in the amount of II65.I3, which is I0% of the total amount due the contractor.
<br />The Board approved the renewal certificate of Joseph B. Fleck
<br />for excavation bond in the amount of II,000.00 signed by the Ya.ryland Casualty Co.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the local sewer in Greenlawn avenue from G. T. V. R. R. to Chester Street under .
<br />improvement Resolution No.2200.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue
<br />hearing until Tuesday, July 9th. , 1929.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />showing the awards of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the
<br />Vacation of Twenty second Street from Jefferson Blvd. , to Sunnymede Avenue under
<br />7acation Resolution No.22I7.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue
<br />hearing until Tuesday, July 9th. , I929.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Reith Riley Construction Co., I
<br />for the pavement improvement on streets in connection Leith Track Elevation under
<br />Improvement Resolution 7-To.2I25A in the amount of 53,636.40. The Board also approved
<br />the construction bond of same in the amount of 50�' of the contract price signed by
<br />the Southern Surety Company. !;
<br />The Board signed the contract ;-;ith Williston Construction Co.,
<br />for the nave-ent on 1-3e7Ter Avenue from the east curb line of 'ddy Street to Tlishawa'.<a
<br />Avenu under Improvement Resolution No.225I in the amount of I2,843.50. The Board
<br />also approved the construction bond of same in the amount of 501, of the contract
<br />trice signed by the Inland Bonding company.
<br />The Board signed the contaact with Joseph Rothwell for the
<br />construction of a local seLr r in Olive Street from Mwood Avenue to feller Street
<br />under Improvement Resolution lo.2223 in the amount of 2,4I8145. The 3oard also
<br />approved the construction bond of same in the amount of 100of the contract priceit
<br />signed by Columbia Casualty Company.

<br />There are 75 resident -oroperty owners along this proposed im-
<br />provement, 38 of whom have signed this remonstrances. This constitues a majority
<br />and I would, therefore, recommend that no further action be taken in the matter.
