390 Tuesday, June 4th; , 1929. Board met in regular session at 9 A. All members present. l�:-inutes of meeting held Vay 2%th. , I929, read' and approved. The Board approved the �- enewal certificate for i%ccavation Bond in favor of the Indiana Bell Telephone Co., signed by the American Surety Company of New York tin the amount of --�I, 000.00. The Board annro�ned the renewal certificate for bond in favor of I. 71. Staples in the. amount of II,000.00 signed by the 4merican "urety Company of New York. The Board approved a Marquise to be constructed in the building in front of 130 N. Vain street for the South Bend Inn. This being the date set, bids were received , opened and read for the construction of pavement on the west one half of Bendix rive from Humboldt Street to Lincoln .flay West under Improvement resolution No.2222. -aids are as follows: 9illiston 'onst. '-`fray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Board adopted the following improvement resolutions: Imnrover! ent resolution HJo.2240 for the local sewer improvement on John- son Street from the center line of 3ulla Street to the center line of Trot 24 in ^. H. Huey's Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana. (See files for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution '7o.224I for the paver.nent improvement on Johnson Street from the north line of ylood Avenue to the north line of seller Street. (See files for oopy of resolution.) Imrroyerpent Resolution "To.2242 for the ravement improvement on ITichigan Street from the south line of South Street to a point 25 feet north of the first alley south of South Street. (See files for copy of resolution. ) In all of the above named improvements, property owners waived all object ions on and in defense to any defect in said procee('ings, and to any =Tiolation in pro cedure for the construction of street improvements as fixed by law.
