38 <br />Wednesday Evening "ay 22nd., I929. <br />w, This being the date 'set, continued hearing was had or} the assessment roll showing <br />the awards of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation <br />of the alley south of Alt€*eldt Street from 'lyde street to the east line of Triami <br />i <br />Heights Addition under vacation Resolution No.2209. <br />"In the above narned assessment roll, no remonstrators. appeared and no written remon- <br />strances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises; finds that <br />the several lots and parcels of land have been b6nefited and damaged in the amounts <br />shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action <br />on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confir.:�led and approved and <br />• all former action taken on said vacation resolution is herebysustained and the alley <br />I� vacated and the proceedings closed. <br />The Board approved the bid of the Albert Construction Company for co-bined curb. <br />and gutter on Smith Otreet between Olive 'street and Huey otreet under Improvement <br />1 -Resolution No.2167 at .90 a lineal foot. <br />0 , <br />L <br />r1 <br />U <br />Yeeting adjourned at 9:00 O'clock. <br />Attested: <br />e ,c crf t hb Boar <br />TU -SDAY YAY 28th. , 1929. <br />13aard met in regular session at 9 A. iR. Barnes for the grade, curb and walk 111 <br />improvement on Anderson "ven a from` King Street to Bulla Street under Improvement <br />Resolution No.2207 in the ount of $2,875.64. The Board signed and appr oved the <br />construction bond for same in the ount of IOC% of the contract price signed by <br />United States Fidelity & Guaranty o. <br />The Board signed the contract _with Frame & Zimmer for the grade, curb and <br />walk .improvement on Bulla Street from Portage `venue to ?fedora '1treet under Improve- <br />ment esolution No.2208 in the amount of ,$1,950.35. The Board approved toe construct <br />ion bond of same for 50 ,, of the contract price signed by "outhern Surety V1om1:a.ny. <br />The Board signed the contract frith F. T. ' Tranberg for the sidewalk improve <br />ment on the south - of Sample Street from the west line of Industrial Drive to a point <br />1280 feet west of the west line of Industrial 'rive under Improvement Resolution No. <br />2220 in the amount of $1, I85.80. The Board also approved the construction bond of <br />same for I00% of the contract price signed by the United States Fidelity and Guarantor <br />Company. <br />The Board signed the contract with E. T. Tranberg for the sidewalk improve <br />went on the Angella Avenue from the east line of Harter Heights Addition to Notre Dame <br />Avenue and on Pokagon Street from the east line of Harter Hei:-rhts Addition to Angellai <br />Avenue under Improvement Aesolution No.2234 in the amount of 3,368.75. The Board <br />also approved the construction bond of sane for 100% of the contract price signed <br />by United States Fidelity & Guaranty o. <br />The Board signed the contract with Rdith Riley Construction Co.., for the <br />sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Marietta Street from the south line of Sample <br />Street to the south line of the Ist. alley south of jample Street under Improvement <br />Resolution No.2239 in the amount of I,457.45. The Boara also approved the construct <br />ion bond of saris a in the amount of 50% of the contract price signed by Oouthern <br />Surety Company. <br />
