Wednesday Evening Vay 22nd., T929. • L This being the date `set, continued hearing was had o4 the assessment roll ;showing the awards of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of the a ley south of Altpeldt Street from "lyde `'treet to the east line of Y"iami Heights ddition under Vacation Resolution No.2209. -In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators. appeared and no written remon- strances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the'premises.- finds than the several lots and parcels of land have been b6nefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and all former action taken on said vacation resolution is -hereby sustained and the alley vacated and the proceedings closed. The Board approved the bid. of the Albert eons truction Company for co-,,bined curb and gutter on Smith Street between Olive '°treet and Hueystreet under Improvement -Resolution No. `2I67 at .90 a lineal foot. The Board signed and approved the construction bond for same in the vaount of I00% of the contract price signed by United States Fidelity & Guaranty o.; The Board signed the contract, with Frame & Zimmer for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Bulla Street from Portage "venue to fedora 'Itreet under Improve- ment Resolution No.2208,in the amount ofI,950.35. The Board approved tie construct ion bond of same for 50 � of the contract price signed by "outhern Surety 1'omla.ny. The Board signed the contract Ivith T. T. ' Tranberg for the sidewalk- improve ment on the south - of Sample Street from the west line of Industrial Drive to a point 1280 feet west of the west line of Industrial Drive under Improvement Resolution No. 8220 in the amount of �I,I85.80. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for I00% of the contract price signed by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company. ; • The Board signed the contract with & T. Tranberg for the sidewalk improve meet on the Angella Avenue from the east line of Harter Heights Addition to Notre Dame Avenue and on Pokagon Street from the east line of Harter Hei mhts Addition to Angell, Avenue under Improvement 1tesolution No.2234 in the amount of 3,368.75. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for I00% of the contract price signed by United States Fidelity & Guaranty "o. The Board signed the contract with Rdith Riley 0onstruction 00.1 for the sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Marietta Street from the south line of Sample Street to the south line of the Ist. alley south of sample Street under Improvement Resolution No.2239 in the amount of I,457.45.
