<br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment roll for
<br />the sewer improvement on Southwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2I42.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue hearing until

<br />the contract for said improvement to Reith Riley Construction ompany at their low
<br />bid of $I,457.45 for sheet asphalt heavy traffic pavement.
<br />Bids having been received for the side walk improvement on the south one half
<br />of 8am-ole Strut from the west line of Industrial Drive to a point 1280 feet west of
<br />the west line of Industrial Drive under Tmprovement Resolution No.2220, the Board this
<br />22nd. , day of h"ay T929 , hereby awards the contract for said improvement to E. T.
<br />Tranberg at his low bid of l', T85.80.

<br />grade, curb, walk, sewer improvement on "orby Street from the east line of the Third
<br />Plat of Parr Place jiddition to the 'ity of South Bend, Indiana, to a point 152.6 feet
<br />east of the east line of said 'Third Plat of Park Place, in accordance with the terms
<br />of the contract between the "ity and =�. T. Tranberg, contractor, under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.22I0. The Board signed and approved sa:e in the amount of I,403.60.
<br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Rocco "�imeri in the amount of
<br />3303.13 for the local sewer improvement on Southwood --venue from Harriett Street to
<br />Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2I42.
<br />The Board approved the bond of contrator in f ay. r of Clarence I. Lee in the
<br />amount of pI,000.00 signed by 1a.ryland Casualty company.
<br />The Board approved the Excavation bond of D. C. St. Clair in the amount of
<br />I,000.00 signed by the Employers Liability Assurance Corporation.
<br />The Board signed and approved the assignment of the contract for the,..grade,
<br />curb and walk improvement on the south side of Division Q'treet from_'Kentucky "street
<br />to a point 138.1 feet east; on Ford atreet from Kentucky street to Ioaw Street; on
<br />4ntueky Street from Division krset to Ford Street, under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.2I481 by the administrator of the estate of Alex Bukowski to E. T. Tranberg. The
<br />• 'Board alsoapproved the assignment of the bond by the United States Fidelity and
<br />Guaranty CO. , by G. A. Farabaugh, Attorney in fact.

<br />Upon the recommendation of City
<br />the petition of the Indiana and P ichigan Electric Company to construct underground
<br />duet line on Lincoln Way East between Carroll 6treet and Columbia Street, as outlined
<br />in their petition of Yay 2Ist. , I929, provided that all cuts in pavement are preberly
<br />'j replaced and all streets protected f^r traffic during the laying of the duct lines.

<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the local
<br />sewer improvement on T°eade street from the alley north of Lincoln -Tay 4'dest to lwood
<br />Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2183. In the above named assessment roll, no
<br />remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being
<br />fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of have benefite
<br />in the amounts named on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take
<br />final action on said assessment roll and declares same in things ratified, confirmed
