Baringer in the <br />amount of JJ,000.00 signed by the 'Itandard-'eoident Insurance `'o. <br />The Board approved the e cavati on bond in the amount of I,000.00 signed by <br />the Mericaj Employers Insurance ompany. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of C. E. Reesh for the Meade Street <br />Sewer under Improvement Resolution No.2I83 signed by tae United States Guaranty CO., <br />in the amount of 305.73. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvement resole <br />tiuns: <br />Improvement resolution _No.22IB for the local sewer improvement in Fremont <br />Street from Humboldt Street to Llwood Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution. <br />Improvement resolution No.22I9 for the local sewer improvement in Ilerwinski <br />Street between Brookfield Street and College Street. (See files for copy of resolutionsj <br />In both of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators appeared <br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premise <br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed <br />for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the <br />City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement <br />resolutions, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without <br />modifibation. <br />In the both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board, hereby, <br />orders that on the 28th., day of Yay 1929, this Board, will receive, opene and read <br />sealed proposals foaf the construction o f said improvements up to I0:00 A. TT. The <br />Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the I7th. , <br />day of Yay and on the 24th., day of May I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune <br />according to law. <br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the ,--;r-ade, <br />curb and walk improvement on Anderson Street from ring -treet to Bulla Otreet under <br />Improvement Resolution No. 2208.
